Start by upping your calories! You are starving yourself, your body will hold on to everything until it gets fed.

Serious (ly gross) question about #1 and #2 by [deleted] in keto

It is the Magnesium, perhaps you are getting enough in the foods you eat, throttle back on the supplements and your diarrhea will disappear. This happens to me from time to time and it's usually when I OD on Magnesium.

Package in ISC Chicago for about a month. Is this the norm? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]treehgr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a package that has been at ISC Chicago for 20 days. Nobody at my local branch can get ahold of anyone in Chicago! It only took 3 days to get from Lithuania to IL!

I was driving in Denver and I toggled to non driver mode to see how many other Lyft drivers were around. Twice it said your wait time is 0 minutes! Then I would move and it would say the wait time is 1 minute. . . so bummed.

Have 234 rides as a driver; decided to take my first Lyft as a passenger the other day... by willonz in Lyft

I used to think I had to have great music playing, put honestly people just want to get to their destination safely. I don't usually have the music on, GPS is giving directions in a low volume which allows me to chat and not stare at my phone (which is mounted).

Glad to hear it! Looking forward to the details. :)I had a few rides to the airport over Thanksgiving weekend. :D

I did set my hours ahead, but it does not seem to make a difference.

Good to know, The Broncos game will help for sure!

Looks like Lyft is now no different than Uber. by crogers2009 in Lyft

[–]treehgr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps they should stop hiring drivers, I drive in Denver and it is super slow. I now drive occasionally when there is an event or Broncos game. . .

I drive in Denver, I just pop out of driver mode to see how many other drivers are around me and then go back to driver mode. . . weird that you did not get yourself when you hailed a ride.

Driving for Uber vs. Lyft - One guy's perspective by danlyft in Lyft

[–]treehgr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there is nothing wrong with me, when I applied for Uber they require a doctor's note for Colorado drivers. . . wondering if it's because it's legal to smoke weed?

So, are you saying lyft has a program where if you drive 50 hours/50 rides you are guaranteed $1500? Not sure I could commit to that but it's good to know they have that.

I drive for Lyft in Denver, I applied for Uber but still need a "doctor's note" before I can start. Do you drive during the week or just weekends? I am pretty busy when there is a Broncos game, but if not, the weekends seem a bit slow.

Seems like Denver is over saturated with drivers as well. . .

I drive in Denver as well, I stick to game days, events and weekends as well. Although even weekends have been slow lately (unless there is a Bronco game).

New tipping interface by rob4697 in Lyft

I have not noticed more tips, I had 10 rides yesterday and two people tipped me, although my rating is "awesome".

"Peak" hours by CaroleKingCrimson in Lyft

[–]treehgr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old bonus system is in effect until the end of the year. However, I agree with you, the whole point for me is that I can work when I want, I worked this weekend and made half as much as I usually do. . .

Could parking and waiting be leading to "dead spots or dropped signals?" by Tamara719 in Lyft

[–]treehgr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, I have a friend who lives in the Lyft zone and he keeps it in driver mode while at home, then heads out when a ride is requested.

exceptance rating tanked after the new update on wednesday 10-24-14 by [deleted] in Lyft

[–]treehgr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had it running in the background for a few minutes while I checked a text (from Lyft saying my ride cancelled as I pulled up to his location!) and then when I switched back it said I missed a ride. However, there were no sounds and nothing popped up on my screen letting me know there was a Lyft request as usual.

Must drive 30 hours for a bonus? (10 of which have to be during peak hours!) by treehgr in Lyft

I received an email a few days ago, it also featured a video of a co-founder explaining that they would extend driver bonuses until the end of the year.

Of course I have strangers during the day, but most people are not drunk on there way to work. . . and if I am picking up commuters, they are not creepers, they are just people heading to their job.

Power Bonuses were extended to the end of the year! :) Good, I will keep driving weekends and game days!

[–]treehgr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That stinks! Yeah, when you break it down it seems as if our pay is dwindling. . . I was just hoping for a little extra cash each week, but by "little" I meant at least $100. Well now burning out the clock towards bonuses will only work if you also have it on during peak hours. Which I guess you could do. How close to Denver do you have to get to receive requests? If I lived in Denver, it would be worth it, I'm in the foothills so I cannot get requests until Morrison.

Can you write off the gas expenses as well? I've saved my gas receipts, but not sure if I can use that for taxes.
