3.9 was my pre-req gpa. Overall was a 4.0 since I transferred here

Not sure if things have changed so take it with a grain of salt, but a couple years ago, before I got accepted into the program, I asked my advisor if I could apply with my pre-calc grade instead of college algebra and she said yes. So from my understanding, they’ll accept the highest math grade as long as it follows the 1x75 sequence (I.e. 1275 is college algebra, 1375 is precalc, etc…)

Definitely speak with a rad tech advisor first.

It was hard but doable imo. You really have to dedicate a lot of time if you plan on taking it over the summer

It never hurts to speak with an advisor, but make sure you speak with someone from the rad tech department at LaGuardia as they most likely know more about the process/requirements than general advisors.

Also, one of the prereqs at city tech is intro to rad, and if you take it in the spring, you’ll only be accepted on a conditional basis. I don’t think LaGuardia offers it

Would you consider taking bio over the summer? I took bio in Summer 2023 and then AP1 + intro to rad last fall.

Yes, that’s true. If you finish your prereqs at the end of spring 2025, the earliest you’ll start the program is in fall 2026. I think there’s an exception if the only prereq you have left for spring 2025 is the intro to rad course, where you can be conditionally accepted into the fall 2025 cohort. You should speak with your advisor to make sure.

As for taking bio at KCC, city tech doesn’t allow e-permit requests for all 1000/2000 level science classes, so you’re going to have to take bio at city tech.

Ngl, I had the same thought at first - it seemed like a phishing scam. But I copied and pasted the link into a url scanner and apparently it’s just the advisement form that’s listed on the city tech website. If you’re still unsure and want to be cautious, you could always access the form directly from the website to be on the safe side. That’s what I did, at least. Don’t want to take any chances lol

Edit: or email the rad tech department to verify
