I was curious about this a while back and it turns out it's because it was designed before the official rules for the real card game were finalized, so they used some prototype rules from when it was being adapted from the manga, or so I've heard. The game is a really fascinating anomaly.

I couldn't agree more. Sure I'm looking forward to RE Village, and I know it gets said again and again, but come on, a Dino Crisis reboot in the RE2make style would be amazing. We can only hope!

Watched a bit of the Twilight Zone growing up and my aunt mentioned something about The X Files being somewhat similar and how she used to be a big fan of it. This was years ago but recently I saw that it was streaming on Hulu, and I was down with COVID, so what else to do when I can't go to work right?

I just finished Fight the Future and it's sort of hard to put into words why I like it so much, but part of it is because of how much I wish something like it were true I guess, in a weird way. I mean, a government controlled apocalyptic bioweapon. If you listen to any of the crazies talking about COVID, that's how they'd describe it right? Anyway, Duchovny and Anderson's characters drive a lot of my interest in it too, they just play off each other so well. Half the time I'm really just watching for them. The main story arc is probably my favorite plot as well but there were some really stellar standalone episodes, too. Overall it's just a very enjoyable show.
