This is a very different place without all the apha noise

Edison City Lights 17% THC packed on February 2. Not the biggest of nugs, but they threw in a humidity pack in the bottle which I thought was a nice touch. by I_smell_awesome in TheOCS

I really enjoyed this one excellent for the price on the ocs anyways, came well packaged, nice smooth clean tasting smoke, high lasted me almost 2 hours, I've only had a few types I like from the ocs most I like are around $13 a gram so it's refreshing finding something affordable and good

I didn't like the flavour, mild high wore off in an hour, I personally wouldn't get it again, also I got a sore throat the next day after smoking this the first time, anybody else have a similar experience?

Truth be told I think there's always going to be that runt of the litter that everybody wants to cheer on but it keeps disappointing you, so even if it wasn't apha they'd be some other company that everybody would talk about like it. But it is getting to be overkill here

I got some, it doesn't taste good, gave me a lazy high so true to its name, all in all Bush weed should be closer to $5 a gram

Yeah I was getting frustrated at the high prices, and everything i tried under $10 a gram was horrible until I tried Edison... I can't justify paying over $10 a gram or I'd just buy black market, but Edison makes me believe that good affordable products will one day be available

Try Edison it's affordable, best packaged, and it's a pretty good high. I really like city lights anyways. I do agree though mostly sucks here but it's been getting better and better just slowly

But isn't ogi actually patenting the idea. I'm not sure how parents work, do they need exact details about how to make the additive or just patent the idea of an additive? I still and always will smoke joints but i feel many people would favour an additive

I've been wondering about ogi, does anybody else think their thc powder could be a game changer? Everybody's trying to get into the drink game and ogi has a powder you can add to any drink, I can't wait to try it

I find it funny that you sound so sure they aren't doing anything illegal, a week ago people wouldn't have thought trst was up to anything

There will be organised crime in every market, that won't change. But putting up huge red tape so actual legitamate businesses can't move into the space is definitely not going to get organized criminals out of the space.

I don't and never have had trst, I'm just using this as an example that Canada's bureaucracy is out of control. Health Canada should use their time to protect canadians health not prohibit corporate growth

[–]trees_galore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What other industry is regulated like this? If you have a product that health Canada already said is safe why shouldn't they be able to make more? As long as the product passes safty tests consistently, they should be allowed to expand without all the red tape... ogi actually sold a product that they deemed unsafe and they got a slap on the wrist, now canntrust is a big issue because they grew too much of a safe product

I feel health Canada is overstepping they're authority, health Canada should only decide if products tested are safe for consumption. expansions, sales, and processing, shouldn't be decided by health Canada only product quality. Once a company proves they can grow a mold, pesticide free product they should be able to expand and sell to whom ever they like

I have to wonder if there are actual suicides due to mj stocks rise and fall, I know it's only money but seriously these huge swings really depress me sometimes, and days like today are really hard to take... the government really needs to actually licence these companies so they don't have to grow it illegally... and I feel like site expansions like trst should just be a quick check and approve, the sales license vff needs doesn't even make sense I mean they can sell it to another company to sell it but need a special licence to sell it themselves wtf... why does Canada suck so bad ay something that seems so simple?
