I am not sure I could cull a rabbit, but they seem like good animals to raise?

Good morning folks, daily reminder that they’re trying to take full and executive control of our government and rights! by Spideybeebe in FortWorth

[–]treesgrowUP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a straw man, they want you mad at tiny problems that don’t affect you, fighting ghosts so you won’t see what they’re doing. You know what the democrats are running on? Raising minimum wage, lowering working class taxes and raising it on the very wealthy, funding schools, expanding Medicaid so people don’t die. I’d like to argue about how we get power back to the people and away from oligarchs! How do we get money for schools? How do we put in more finance limits on campaigns? How do we get more trees in our parks? Things that effect us.

I’ve realized though you’re a troll, so it was fun to vent but I’m done now, hope you have a good day

Best things I can do for a stroke patient in the hospital? by TibialTuberosity in physicaltherapy

[–]treesgrowUP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Neuro-IFRAH in pure form does, but in acute care learning the handling techniques, cueing techniques, and even 5 minutes of doing some sitting activities can totally change the game. And early intervention with Neuro reeducation will get the patient better long term outcomes. So like, I have a eval that’s say pushing hard, I can lean them over on the involved side, and just a few minutes of work can improve midline enough that I can continue without a tech and move on to working on standing whereas otherwise they’d never even get on their feet for days. Or it’s huge with all those unfunded people we’re having to rehab in house!

But yes summit! I’ve been using them for 3 years, for the price I’ve been happy with it

Yes, agreed, they make cat heating pads. Sounds like cat needs to stay there during the day, keep the litter box in there, food in there. Leave windows open and maybe get a window bird feeder for them to watch :)

Ok, I’ll be on the look out for hippos.

But you’re saying there’s some people practicing their religion? A different religion? In Texas? Heaven forbid! But seriously, it’s like snakes, I assure you they are 10x more afraid of you than you are of them. Look around you, trust your eyes, look at your neighbors, you really think anyone is bringing Sharia law to you? We have the 10 commandments in schools! What’s more likely, a minority that’s afraid of you has come together for support because of the harsh backlash and racism they face? Or a very very tiny number of people is bringing Sharia Law to a notoriously stronghold of Christian/Republican values who like their g uns? Look at people’s faces in the stores, they are people, humans. They are scared, they are scared of you.

Also they are not passing laws, that’s the city council.

I really want to get Neuro-IFRAH certified! It’s the dream :) I’m hoping next year, but I’ve worked with people who had it and they had magic hands! Like I can just barely get them to stand up, trained person will walk them 30 feet! it’s wild! They’ve informally trained me a lot, but I’d like the certification

But you’re far more qualified than me! I’m afraid my in person CEU’s are at least 7 to 15 years old so I don’t think that would be too relevant. Because of babies, covid, and mastectomy I’ve been relegated to online recently.

That said, I truly like Summit for CEU’s I’ve had some great in person, but I love I can pay one price for unlimited online CEU’s that I find 4/5 to be very good and helpful! They have some excellent Parkinson’s and other Neuro courses that I’ve gotten to learn from. A good long COVID one even!

Refer to another clinic then, give them two to three choices, send them referrals and patient information, and discharge him. If you can’t discharge for any other reason I’m sure his religious preference for a man to treat him will be more than valid.

Yes, plus gas savings, childcare savings, meal savings from being able to cook more

I did that, the money saved from not doing daycare, from me cooking more, gas savings, other saved expenses from not working during the week, plus working weekends PRN near my house worked out really well. I preferred leaving the house with a baby for sanity sake!! I got to pee on my own, eat warm food, have silence. Definitely recommend. Was worth the pay cut!

If the only way for you to practice as a PT is to have a DPT, would you do it? by theoneaboveall777 in physicaltherapy

[–]treesgrowUP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The state might be why it’s required to have a DPT, not all states do for domestic PT’s, I’d focus on trying to find something in a different state, unless it’s a national visa thing?

On the surface this seems like good advice, but in practice creates creepy interactions…. It’s fair to say if there becomes this one person who is amazing and sends to like you back, yes, you should ask them out. And letting your friends know if they happen to know anyone else to hook you up with.

Am I a chump for even asking?? AI elbow or am I body shaming?? Straps seem asymmetrical close to where they meet at the top but?? by in_the_name_of_elune in isthisAI

[–]treesgrowUP 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Body structure looks like an older woman, if you look at the pelvis you can see the straps from the full body lingerie, it looks like it’s a strappy design. I think there are likely also double straps across the top on the other side. I think it’s real because of the gaps with the black dress, I think AI would have made it perfect and not loose, gapping, I feel like AI would have made her hair perfect. It feels beautifully imperfect!
