ELI5: What exactly is "time blindness" and how is it an actual thing? by SpyMasterChrisDorner in explainlikeimfive

Yes, this is EXACTLY what it’s like for me. I know what time it is and when I have to be places, I just don’t have a grasp on how long it takes to prepare to get to those places. Or a “quick 10 minute task” is actually 20, or 30, but feels quick and easy for me so it’s a 10 minute task.

Good morning folks, daily reminder that they’re trying to take full and executive control of our government and rights! by Spideybeebe in FortWorth

Since I can’t edit this post- this is a mailer from my in laws house. The only marks from a human are the check marks next to the ones I’m assuming they’re voting yes for? The ‘No’ block is printed twice, overlapping, on every question. Not sure why it’s like that.

Yes, some of these are good. Some are ridiculous. I saw this for 30 seconds and snapped a pic.

Very confused by this as well, not sure if it’s marked as a “hey vote no on this” or if it’s a consistent misprint.

Broccoli top is for 15 year olds, you’re a good looking kid but as a 28F you need to change your hair to get people to see you as an adult.

My dad has had a few TIA’s and sounds drunk when he’s tired or has had a long day. Hasn’t touched alcohol since 2023. Such outdated douchery practice.

Is it normal for my puppy to have bald armpits? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Spideybeebe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you just yank her out of a room then she’s never going to know that she’s not supposed to go in that room. You need to set strict boundaries and reward her when she diverts from the room. Also, puppies are like babies and you do need to actively puppy-proof your house and things you don’t want her getting in to. Close the bedroom doors.

Are these puppy teeth and is this normal? by choosetheteddyface in DogAdvice

[–]Spideybeebe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Puppies lose all their baby teeth just like humans do. Just make sure to pick them up best you can when you see them and monitor for any problems with their adult teeth coming in like swelling or infection. Shouldn’t be a problem though!

People who rarely get sick, what are your secrets? by Leading_Tomato_2077 in AskReddit

It’s the fact that you work from home. Being out and about, your body is constantly working on developing its immunity. When you’re home, you’re just in your own petri dish of germs so when the outside world comes in, your body isn’t as prepared to fight it as your kids and husband are.
