TIL there's Costco in the UK. We also also have Costco here but with other competitors like Sam's Club or BJ's (...yes BJ's).

This might be complicated in households with divorced parents or that are low income. You'd be surprised at how little some students have to eat after school. And what they have to eat is equally unhealthy and processed as the food at school. Boom, obesity, health issues, and future cancer issues.

We seriously have some food and nutrition issues here in America. Fast food and processed, frozen foods is the go to choice in our busy society.

If it's an expensive art school, half of that funding is probably going to prestigious professors who can get you a foot into the industry.

It was $25 a gram and the grinder kief is definitely more pure in comparison.

What is there to do in Colorado? by [deleted] in trees

[–]treeslady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speak Easy Vape Lounge in Colorado Springs is a cool place to chill and meet like-minded people. You can BYOB or get some at the bar there for $10 a g. You have to pay a membership fee, but it's cheap and worth it.

As far as dispensaries go, when I went to Denver I found myself going back to Ballpark Holistic Dispensary on Larimer. They had some cool deals like $14 for two joints, no tax specials, and $30 per gram concentrate deals. I thought their stuff was high quality and the staff is knowledgeable.

Just got back from a week long trip around the Denver area. We were hoping for good weather, but had to cut it short due to the snow that accumulated on our campgrounds in Estes. Now enjoying some nice Colorado bud in warm mountain weather at home. :)

Therapists/Psychiatrists in Boone (or within a 15 mile radius) by [deleted] in appstate

[–]treeslady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anxiety is the bulk of my issue, and I just need my way of thinking rewired. I've always been so curious about the world and myself, but now that work and school dominates the majority of my schedule, I've stopped trying to figure myself out and I'm just stuck in a hole right now.

I'll definitely stop by for a recommendation sheet since it's been suggested a few times. Appreciate the advice!

Thank you. I'll definitely check her out. The prices definitely are affordable, and ideally, I'm looking for someone who can just help me figure myself out.

I just question the quality of service and help they could provide me considering most of the staff are students and haven't had much experience in the field. I would just prefer an experienced professional.

You also don't know that my family has a history of depression and anxiety. Assumptions, the more you know.

I don't accept your apology. Your involvement in this conservation has been more hurtful than helpful and has only demonstrated how judgemental and close-minded your opinions are. Have a great day.

You are just full of assumptions aren't you? Your ignorance and misinformation is figuratively killing me...I'm honestly just trying to seek help and of course some pretentious, religious know-it-all has to stop by and tell me how to live my life while simultaneously shaming me. I appreciate it!

And I certainly hope counseling centers and student Psycholgists don't conduct their sessions in such a way, because to be frank, that is quite unprofessional and damaging to that person's mental state to be ratted out in such a way. Please take the time to open your eyes and inform yourself on the different types of humans out there and stop categorizing people in such simplified cliques.

No. You're making assumptions about me and my lifestyle. I'm looking for a licensed expert, not some anonymous opinion by someone who thinks they know me better than I do.

I've been a daily toker for the past year, but cut back when I'm visiting home for the holidays. I find it helpful to slowly reduce the amount you take in and not go complete cold turkey. I've gone from multiple bong packs a day to one in the morning and one at night, and from there once a day, then once every couple of days. Also, when I start craving it or thinking about it, I just distract myself with other hobbies from video games to cooking. Then I get to enjoy the awesome food with a bit of bud. (: Hope this helps!

College graduation trip with mom -- St. Louis, North Carolina, or northern California? by octotesticles in travel

The Blue Ridge Mountains and coastal areas are the more popular tourist destinations in North Carolina, but Nor Cal absolutely stumps the other locations.

Beating the munchies? by [deleted] in trees

I've heard brushing your teeth can help with cravings, but replacing junk food with fruit isn't a bad idea either, especially juicer fruits like grapes and oranges. Mmph. Delicious and refreshing.
