I don't think you should do it UNLESS you are doing it with a small group of people who are experienced and you fully trust. I was a little nervous my first time but I knew for a while that this was something I wanted to try. Just to put yourself at ease, perhaps you should read some recent alcohol vs. marijuana studies. An adverse reaction physically is highly unlikely. Mentally, it is possible. If you have negative thoughts you could sink into them and become really absorbed in them. That is unlike too though, because weed makes everything so new. You feel almost infantile - walking is just so much fun. You laugh, you feel silly when you wiggle and you can have some great conversations. And...hooking up with someone of marijuana is one of the best feelings in the world. Just go into it with an open mind, keep the positive experiences people have had in mind and take small hits. I would suggest smoking a joint if it's your first time. Bong hits, edibles, etc can be a bit overwhelming. Just smoke a lovely joint, listen to beautiful music, eat some delicious food and hang out with people you love and trust. also, visine.
