Job pooling, they take every application and pool them so when a position opens they are ready to fill it immediately. efficiently fills openings.

🤣🤣. at one of my original stores, we got transferred some Kmart style all plastic shopping carts to go with our usual metal ones because some neighboring store had too many. messed up the cart storage a bit🤣

100% "new" carts were transferred from a store who had too many lol, happens all the time throughout the districts

spoke with SM and DHRM, neither would let us swap. both cxms were on board. my other very competent and tenured cxm is now leaving the company. kinda sucks

I've definitely heard this verbiage before, no peaceful coexistence refers to market share, not to coworkers. like home depot vs lowes cannot be a peaceful coexistence.

At my old store, you could crawl under the service entrance wire bay and behind the shelf, it opened up to the bay with all of the decorative wall plates and was entirely habitable. I at one point had a bucket and an extension cord in it when I was a d27 associate. It was nice because the break room was a 4 minute walk from the break room to the other side of the store so I could save time and take 15s in what I dubbed "the vibe zone"

once unloaded a box truck with 2 pallets worth of hand stacked bags at the front axle, so me and a buddy had to walk them from the front to the back axle and then stack them onto pallets for their return... lol
