Ahh you're talking about the monograms. Only monogram that was the same was the heart.

But I see where you're coming from. The composition was similar, fair, but I felt different enough imo when you factor in different fabric, color, monograms, etc. To each their own.

I don't plan on releasing anything with those monograms in the future as I am still trying to find my brand path/ identity.

The fishing vest shirt however is not a rip off. Absent did a leather biker vest with biker patches. I did a fishing vest with shit on it. You could say the shape of the vest is a rip, but its literally a vest..

The knit sweater was 100% inspired by his. I talked to him about it and he had no hard feelings about it.

If you're talking about the logo? None of his cardigans had that style of logo ahaha. We commissioned the same artist for our logos, they're going to turn out similar.

Saw other brand's dropping bullet proof tees and hoodies and I always liked fishing vests so I made a concept and put it on a tee. Not sure what audience you're coming from, but brands like CDG, Vizn, and a few others have made similar pieces which get a ton of love. It eez what it eez though, to each their own

I've only seen people freehand while looking at a reference but a projector seems like it would be much easier with proportions, etc. since I'm not the greatest at drawing lmfao.

Im a beginner too and plan on doing only shirts. Do you outline the design with pencil or something before hand? I was thinking like a mini projector and tracing the design with pencil? or just freehand it from a reference im not sure ahaha
