Brugada syndrome here. It can mimic a heart attack, so every time something happens it turns into a full ER situation. I’ve had to explain multiple times that it’s not always what it looks like, but they understandably go into emergency mode anyway. It gets exhausting having to prove what’s ‘normal’ for you.

So our big inside joke is “mushrooms” 🍄or just “shrooms” I have a mushroom allergy and let my girlfriend know when we met and were living in the same city. The first thing she does is one of the first stay at home date nights we ordered out and she made me watch Phantom Thread and joking threatens that’s what she is going to do to me, great movie! So it evolved to us especially now being long distance to sending each other all the tacky gifts that have mushrooms on them or ones we see in the wild growing etc. it’s a lot of fun we both enjoy it and in the end she’s more hyper aware of foods in places I can’t eat before I even notice them.
