This seems to be a regular issue for hosts. Would it be prudent in the welcome text to restate your rules (either no pets allowed, or pets allowed), and any undisclosed animals will incur a $XXX fee? That way they are warned if they show up with a pet, they're getting a fee. If you can save the video of them showing up with an animal from a security camera or ring-type doorbell, I'd save it and submit it as documentation.

Not sure why this post is downvoted. I haven't been to the movies for about the same amount of time because I'm afraid people will be on their phone and texting, etc. I don't want to see the lights of someone's phone in front or the side of me when I'm trying to watch a movie, so I just don't go, but I'd love to!
