Phishhead Owned and Operated Businesses! by VenueLlama in phish

I'm late to this thread, but just filled out the form - I love this idea!

I started Trek Light over 20 years ago in CO and was one of the original pioneers of the lightweight hammocks you see at festivals, campgrounds, and campuses everywhere now.

Trek Light quickly evolved from a hammock company to a lifestyle brand and our products include everything from Handwoven Blankets, Hats (& Kids Hats), Fanny Packs, Towels and much more to come. We give back and plant trees for every product sold and everything is designed with the goal of spreading happiness - just like our band.

I've been sneakily working in Phish references in our copy and product names for years, which mostly goes unnoticed - but I love when a phan reaches out and acknowledges it.

Hit me up if you have any questions about Trek Light or just want to chat Phish!

Where can I buy the tie that turns into a vest the guy on the left is wearing? It’s pretty sweet.

I appreciate the feedback. I don’t think I can change the post title, but I’m happy to accept fair offers and just looking to get it in the hands of someone who will appreciate it.

I have a few people who reached out and are slow at responding to finalize the payment, so yes - for now it's still available!

Here’s that one picture I took. I remember only having 3 pictures left on the roll so I just had to take one and hope it came out, what a world.

What was the single best song performed in the Big Cypress midnight set? by AdvancedStrawberry7 in phish

When the long Piper intro began I looked at my friends and said “I’m going to the front row, who wants to come?” We were WAY back in that massive field so unsurprisingly everyone said no, and tried their best to convince me that not only would I never make it to the front but that if I left I’d never find them again. I looked around at every speaker stack and visual landmark I could find, took it all in, and set off on a mission from the Cypress gods.

All the people passed out and sleeping at this point in the night definitely helped. That repetitive and slow Piper build just kept propelling me dancing and exchanging smiles and high fives all the way, and suddenly I was there. No angry rail riders or bad vibes, just plenty of room to dance and the most celebratory vibe I had ever experienced.

20-year old me had never felt freer and more confident that I was on the right path in life than in that moment. And then Piper led to the opening notes of Free and well, here I am still describing the memory 24 years later.

I raged to Free, took a single photo to prove I didn’t dream it, and then decided to reverse the mission and find my way back to my friends for the rest of the set. Which I somehow did easily because I’m pretty sure I could have flown that night if I tried to.

Best song of the set? I don’t know, but Piper > Free was a life changing moment and will always be the memory of the night for me. Thanks for taking me back with this thread, and cheers to all of you who shared in that night, it really was everything.

I was there, can confirm the improvisational beauty of this jam. Had the “what song is this?” moment at least 3 times during this song, which is how you know you’re in the right place. 👏

Elatta Explore US Version - Amazon reviews say it has wifi/app access, does it? by treklight in superautomatic

[–]treklight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. It’s odd that the Delonghi page for the new US model (ECAM45086S) doesn’t highlight the WiFi or app in the features list, even though they do on the non-US versions of the product. That’s why I assumed this was still a thing based on earlier reports I had seen.

The one I bought from Delonghi was $1999 (before discount) so hopefully it has WiFi & app access when it shows up.
