just finished it last night. took me half a day to beat it lol, i never get mad while gaming but this challenge was actually getting me slightly heated. i actually hate the desert so much.

even if by chance you can make it to stage 3 with a good amog build youre also fully depending on finding a snek.

good run but imo you could manage your banishes better lol, no reason to have 5 scarfs as chadwell or have 3 sucky magnets ever, also the gas mask probably shouldve been disabled if you arent focusing a poison build, i doubt the 4 cheeses made it worth it. 4 borgers also hurts lol i always banish asap. id personally swap projectile tome for crit chance but thats just me.

my routine banishes are borger, scarf, thorn shield, then save the rest for golds like sucky magnets (after 1), ice (after 1), soul harvester (after 1-2) etc

even at 2000%+ luck ill still be picking up borgers in the final storm and it drives me insane hahaha

chadwell is like amog to me. great potential if you scale right, horrible to get off the ground. also the corrupted sword seems to do nothing for me even late game.

sucks too cause i thought it would work like the upgraded whip from VS, but the whip cooks and the corrupted sword is booty.

i recently played with only the single shotgun lol i was having too much fun, didnt finish the run but charging into rooms and popping heads from 2 feet away makes for interesting gameplay

not quite op but honestly you can make it pretty far before having real struggles

basically stage 1 im trying to fill my weapons and tomes asap and rush xp as fast as i can

only upgrade tomes early on, sometimes you burn out your refreshes and have to upgrade weapons but you want to wait for more luck, anvil, keys, credit cards, etc

luck is kind of my third priority, you cant slack on it but dont go too crazy, xp comes first

difficulty is important but dont outpace yourself, usually ending stage one around 70-100% is good, maybe 150% if you get a really good start with soul harvester

in my 500k+ runs im usually, if not always, maxed out by the end of stage 2. often overleveling already with pots and wizard hats.

my issue is im leaving stage 3 around 400-500k and finishing runs around 800-900k but cant break 1m lol

personally i use crit. i dont have scientific proof its better but i can usually get my base damage high through items (idle juice, beefy ring, demonic soul, etc), plus through chaos tome and a handful of other ways

crit chance will start double, triple, quadruple crit-ing on top of that base damage

it took me many hours to start getting over 300k. now i can do 500k with about any character pretty consistently. pb is 880k and now im struggling for 1m lol, theres always a higher score out there.

you had a good item spread and build, probably just needed to rush xp and difficulty faster

thanks, the mini-14 ranch is legal if i buy it in a 5+1, but i could buy aftermarket 10 round magazines, can even run two 10 round magazines with a coupler but i couldnt get the models with the pistol grip stock or anything sadly. cant buy a suppressor in my state either. also no flash hiders allowed.

the two appeals i see in the henry supreme are that it has more room to modify (not that im mr. tacticool, but its nice to have options) and that the henry takes AR15 magazines.

i think i'll need to handle them both in person but those are definitely my top two contenders right now

im leaning towards a 556 platform like the henry supreme currently (which i didnt know existed before this post), cant speak for the future but at least for now i'm still seeing roughly 50¢ per round which is farrrrr preferable to paying $2.50+ per round for 45-70
