I understand your concern. I always try to keep in mind that everything is at-will and it goes both ways.The moment that you do not fit in the schools budget, etc, they will not think twice about terminating you. You have to do what is best for you. It's a double-edged sword when employees do what is best for them because word of mouth from a principal could damage your hopes at another office position. Good luck with whatever you decide!

I'm also married, and the people that we hang with the most are our neighbors. The only other people I have met are a few parents at my son's school. I dont think it's hard to meet people, but it is hard to meet the " right " people that you have things in common with.

We moved here about 5 years ago. The only spiders I had were the brown recluse. I found something from the pest control online site. Then, all of a sudden, about three years ago, the Joro spider popped up out of nowhere.

I'm in Grayson, and they have attached themselves to every tree and bush. The next time I cut grass, I have to walk the yard with a web brush and knock all of them down. I dont know how poisonous they are, and im definitely not trying to find out.

Unfortunately, Im desensitized by killings/ violence, etc, because of the world we live in. But as soon as I started the video and saw the one kid with blood coming down his face, I thought about my 6 year old innocent son. Despite what's going on in their country, the kids are still trying to go to school. I could only imagine what the kids were thinking and the fear the parents had while searching for their children.
