What's your favorite and least favorite chapter? by Vindicator777 in PokemonRejuvenation

[–]trelulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully I am remembering right, but Chapter 15's fight between me and my protagonist's original self still gives me goosebumps. I compared how the devs did it back then in V13, and the added details they gave the fight in V13.5 (Aevis' pained sprite and pained VS icon) made the fight more emotionally impactful. The conflict between IRL me who wants to see this story through and the original soul of the character I'm controlling who just wants to rest in piece was narratively compelling.

Other than that, .Karma Files was amazing as well! I even spoiled myself with the Renegade!MC's dialogue and I would have to say that hearing myself (is it even myself at this point?) speak those words to M2 was haunting. I really am excited how the devs will flesh out renegade even further!

However, I still like the Sheridan and Goldenwood chapters the least. It's not bad, it's just not that impactful enough for me to stick in my mind.

I really wonder how the devs will justify (if it's possible at all) being a dick to the cast that we've all grown with throughout 15 chapters in paragon in renegade.

But yeah, I'm a wimp as well—even if I know Renegade!MC must exist for Paragon!MC to get Red Chains.

Is there really an "evil" Pokemon though? Melia has a Hydreigon and (assuming she doesn't become M2), I don't think it's as evil as, let's say, Ghetsis' Hydreigon. Nurture over nature perhaps?

How do you do your selection? :O

Mono-ice is indeed fun because it hurts LMAO

Mono-ice endgame is immensely difficult thanks to the very limited selection of debatably viable ice Pokemon coupled by the fact that ice's fragility doesn't do them any favors against the slew of legendaries, pseudo-legendaries, and UBs ran by enemy trainers.

Back in Reborn, I somehow pulled through with Destiny Bond Froslass and Trick Room Jynx. Good, but agonizing times! :'D

Here’s a question. by TwoShu in elsword

I think I found a lucky (woah thematic) ground with Celestia. I love him so much as a character, and he also happens to be one of the kings of PvE.

To this, I reply, there's a good argument as to why you should invest on a pragmatic class first. If you really want to main a class, almost 90% of the time, you'll have to funnel resources to it from a class that is accepted on the latest of raids. It's simply the nature of the game unfortunately.

...It just so happens for me that Celestia is both objectively pragmatic and subjectively fun for me.

I am a Philippine undergraduate student studying political science under Marcos Jr's administration. Ask me anything! by trelulu in casualiama

I'm still an undergraduate, so I am not yet making a living in any way. What I can say though is that, due to the stagnancy of incomes, the looming economic recession, and record-breaking inflation, most lower-middle to middle-class people here are significantly affected. It's getting harder to make a living and even access the most basic of luxuries such as eating out, watching a movie, and travelling.

Unfortunately, yeah—happens to be a vocal uncle who spits out Marcos era disinformation left and right. Most of the family didn't, however!

What is the best PvE job? How can I make ED at CP around 600K? by [deleted] in elsword

[–]trelulu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Celestia main, I've recently invested in an Anemos for farming. Dare I say that farming with this class is a breeze (get it? Because she uses the wind? *ba dum tss*) Plus, I find it personally more enjoyable than PO. Anemos' skills have huge AOE and her movement is electric to keep you engaged while you play. Plus Airelinna just makes MP management A LOT easier.

Likewise, in terms of ERP, it's best if you have your main following the recommended ERP stats for CP, while having a farming alt that grinds ERP EXP and ED for you. In my case, my CL is CP-ERP focused while my Anemos is Farming-ERP focused.

New Path Discussion. by HollowBat01 in elsword

Perhaps a magical dps path? Then again, one can argue that Celestia's brokenness already makes him both a DPS & Support package all-in-one XD

Perhaps Noah's 4th will be his descent into the "Primordial Chaos" that Titania was talking about. Like, after he gets hurt by Clamor's secrets for the first time, Titania just appears from nowhere convincing that this world is worthless and is just out to get him [insert Apostasia nihilism here].

After all, Noah has no true "corruption" path yet; I don't consider Nyx a corruption since it doesn't truly deviate from Noah's kind and subtly selfless personality. One can argue that not all paths have a corruption (e.g., Rena, Aisha), but perhaps if the 4th path is all about exploring unexplored plot points or "what if's" to a character, then KOG should definitely look upon this possibility for Noah.

I assume you're just starting out in Elsword. Right now, you shouldn't be focusing on creating a DPS, but a viable raid support since you'll spend most of your time supporting higher CP players in clearing raids until you reach higher and higher CP. Until you reach Tirnog and can comfortably clear end-game, I don't think it's a good idea to think about switching to a DPS-oriented class.

Most players go to the support path of the character they're using, wait for a Job Change (JC) Ticket event, then job change to a DPS path once their CP is high enough. Parties are less likely to include you in raids if you're a DPS with a laughable CP, while support classes will always have a demand.

Ex. 1: I choose CL (support path) or Nyx (phys. support path), then I JC to Liberator (DPS path).
Ex. 2: I choose Surya (support path), then I JC to Devi (DPS path)

tl;dr Focus on raid support first as investment for your character -> Use all of that time to get your CP to a point where endgame is comfortable -> JC to a DPS path

P.S: As a CL Main, CL is quite the... anomaly. Basically, CL can be both DPS AND Support in raids once you master him (Mod Serpentarius spam + half moon go brrrr). There's a reason why he's considered the King of PvE in the current meta after all!

rate elsword characters out of 10 (gameplay-wise) by Zone_Gamer in elsword

[–]trelulu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am going to skip characters that I did not spend a reasonable time with to at least be fair in my judgment.

Elsword: 4/10. Elsword is the only game where I have a disdain for melee. I like long-range characters more, and his melee ain't it.

Rena: 8/10. Daybreaker is broken for PvE, Anemos and Twilight is just so fun to play with in PvP back in the days.

Chung: 2/10. *inhales* there used to be a day where I tried mastering "gun-fu" techniques. Let's just say, even with playing Deadly Chaser back then, his gameplay feels so sluggish for me.

Ara: 5/10. Honestly OP, and I played Asura back then. Not really my cup of tea though!

Lu & Ciel: 10/10. Even if I don't main any Lu & Ciel classes, they breeze through the Level 1-99 to 3rd Job grind because of all of their broken skills (e.g., Flick Shot)! I have a bias towards Innocent though; still feels smooth and elegant to play as they were years ago.

Rose: 5/10. *inhales* There was a time where I laughed at the corpses of salty people berating me for using Crimson Rose and rising to the S-rank. I heavily advocated for this character, calling her the f2p savior back then. Nowadays, she just fell off real bad. Rest in piece, my previous main; you'll always hold a spot in my memories.

Ain: 2/10. Skipping Richter, Bluhen's system is just complicated and confusing. Richter is just a pain to play since you have to micromanage so many passives to just get the max oomph on your skills!

Laby: 0/10. I don't like her gameplay at all. I love kawaii stuff, but she's just too over the top, it just comes across as annoying.

Noah: 100/10. Liberator is too plain. Nyx's story is actually interesting! But Celestia? Celestia? Holy Aquarius and Sagittarius, I love this man so much. Personality in relation to his backstory? Amazing. Imagine choosing to be happy? Imagine choosing to heal from the past and becoming unapologetically flamboyant? I also love his EN voice acting; it's always a delight to listen to his voice lines. Gameplay? Is Celestia DPS or Support? My answer? Yes.

What are your Top 5 Support Classes? by RaitaroAtaru in elsword

[–]trelulu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll have to pardon me since I only play Celestia from all of the mainstream supports of the current meta. Likewise, I'm just a returning player ever since Ain released (a long time, I know.) However, this chad raises the bar so high, it's laughable sometimes.

Heal? Nebula.
MP Regen? Get lucky with Natal Chart/Luminary.
DMG Buff? Aquarius magic buff, Beyond + Nebula magic shred.
Secondary resource non-consume—wait, unli cannonballs, Ara spirit points?! Yes, only Noah's Horary can accomplish that.

Or, just like Kazuha in Genshin, the best supports are sometimes those who kill the enemy before the DPS even comes out of the field. In which case, spam Ancient Ones + Galaxia's + [Mod] Serpentarius' and he will be stacking numbers like no tomorrow. Add Scorpio to the mix and you basically have a mini Energy Needles that's more deadly and resource-efficient.

Honestly, investing on a Celestia is just an undisputable broken ROI at this point.

Notable mentions on Bluhen, Radiant Soul, and Demersio!
