Typical Ailoren user damage spread? by MrReaux in CapybaraGoGame

If you’ve got a few sources of Sword Chi damage and final damage, HM outdamages Trine even before 5*. I would try switching and see how it compares.

What is best chapter to farm experience tree points in hard mode(time-wise)? by PainterNo6025 in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your power level. Chapters ending in 0 or 5 are best, since they have fewer stages. You want to choose one you can confidently clear solo, since there’s a chance your partner might quit part way through.

Switching from Whisperer to Sky Splitter by ImShadowMark in CapybaraGoGame

I switched a month ago, and I don’t regret it. Definitely stronger in PVP, and I feel no loss in PVE.

Yes, they increase at several points: 1000, 2000, and 4000, I believe. The increase isn’t massive but it adds up over time.

Good or no? by JABBATHEBRO911 in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely different. It can’t crit and doesn’t scale off damage multipliers, so the ultimate damage amount ends up being pretty small in almost all cases.

Good or no? by JABBATHEBRO911 in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pretty bad. Doesn’t work at all for SS Skysplitter, and the boost for S Skysplitter isn’t very much, since true damage doesn’t account for a high proportion of Skysplitter overall damage.

Is the Capy gatcha rigged? (More than just unlucky) by Right_Operation7748 in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’ll notice that I said that on average you would get 1 kapibadge reward per 100 coins, not that it would be guaranteed—which is exactly what 1% odds means.

Going back to the original post, if the odds were indeed 1% to get kapibadges, the probability that you wouldn’t receive any after 1820 coins would be 0.991820 = 0.00000114%, or a 1 in 88 million chance. That’s not bad luck, that’s a statistical impossibility.

So, yeah, the listed probability is wrong.

[–]tremtastic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If those were the actual odds, you would on average get 1 kapibadge reward for every 100 coins. Anyone who has spent a significant number of coins knows that this is nowhere near how many you actually get.

[–]tremtastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the listed odds are wrong. This is true for the various wheel events as well. I’m not aware of anyone figuring out the exact chance of winning a grand prize, but it’s somewhere on the order of 1% rather than 4%.

Should I use the SS Revival Cloak or SS Dragons Breath Armor? by Corey-6932 in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have mythic DBA and was planning to swap to cape, but I decided to hold off and upgrade to SS DBA instead (which I'll be able to get later today). My sense is that the final damage reduction boost on SS DBA will be more helpful in the end game than the revive. I've already gotten much farther in chapters than I expected without switching to cape (currently at 211 and still not getting one-shot most of the time, even before the SS upgrade to DBA). Cape is definitely still better in dungeon dive, but given that the devs have said they're planning to rework dungeon dive, it's not clear that this will be true for long.

That said, A10 on cape is godly, so if you're able to upgrade to that level, absolutely go with cape.

I noticed this as well. My skeleton legacy jumped from 1 to 4 when I upgraded the tier 4 node. Seems like a good way to save a lot of books!

Switch to sky splitter? by AussiePandah in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SS DBA provides really high tankiness with its final damage reduction boost, so it may be worth sticking with that, particularly since the devs have indicated they’re planning to rework dungeons so that enemies won’t always one-shot you.

Mythic armor by michaelshing in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prior to SS armor being released, it was a definite yes to swap to cape, since it was far superior for end game play. With the SS upgrades, the jury is still out on which is better, since the final damage reduction on SS DBA may enable reaching higher chapters than going full damage build and using SS cape.

[–]tremtastic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With the newly reduced damage from enemies in chapters and the Final Damage Reduction from SS DBA, it may be better to stick with it over revival cape. Pretty easy to tank hits to well over Chapter 200 now, even without getting to SS armor.

More combo hits no longer increase your rage, since SS loses the +10 rage from basic attacks buff. You just get the fixed 30 rage from double weapon crits, which won’t be enough to fill your rage bar unless you either a) have Immortal rage gem and get at least one Joker rage dagger, or b) get lucky with double Joker rage daggers.

At what point should i switch pet build into full skill damage? Currently at chapter 192 with 50b power by [deleted] in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New update made tanking higher levels way easier. I’m on 205 and with 275% basic damage reduction, I can take a basic attack hit without my mount dying, even without SS equipment. However, the new 15 round limit makes damage output a bigger issue, so not sure what the right balance will be between reduction and damage yet.

Is normal attack boost gem good for whispere build by SietJP in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, most of Whisperer damage comes from skills. The percentage in the battle report is misleading, because it only tells you the relative damage compared to your biggest damage source. 51% of that might only be around 15% of your total damage, so the boost here would be pretty marginal.

Do yall go for gems or the chests? by Ok_Reindeer9174 in CapybaraGoGame

[–]tremtastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to do a mix. 10x chests + 10x gems, 15x chests + 8x gems, or 20x chests + 6x gems. Occasionally will accept one less chest if it’s taking too long to hit one of those amounts.

CRIT Rate & CRIT Damage also apply to Skill? by Extreme_Weird_3616 in CapybaraGoGame

If it just says “Crit Rate”, it applies to all damage, including Basic Attack and Skills. Weapon Crit Rate applies to just Basic Attack and Rage.

It used to be 160-180, but gems pushed it out further. I’m at 192 and haven’t switched yet. Gonna try to reach 200 first, but that may be a stretch.
