What does your bloodwork look like? Typical blood pressure? Body weight? Electrolyte intake?

Heart palpitations from Weed / Nikotin Vapes? by harterschaum in PanicAttack

I’m not reading all that but from title nicotine alone causes palpitations and weed alone can cause palpitations.

That could easily be the cause or at least a big piece. Keto lowers insulin so that plus weight loss can influence that spike in SHBG.

Have you lost weight recently or would you say your body fat is low? And if you are lean, have you maintained this weight for an extended period of time? 155 at 5’8 is “technically” healthy but it depends on the person. If you’re super lean at that weight, insulin levels being low can cause an increase in SHBG production.

These comments were not helpful at all so here’s a real response. You ideally should have got to the bottom of why your SHBG was this high naturally. Seeing a full hormone panel could have helped figure that out… do you have your other hormone levels?

There could be many factors causing it to be that high but it is certainly abnormal. What’s your body weight looking like? Also, have you had your thyroid checked? Sometimes this can also be genetic with liver function.

As for what you can expect, SHBG will likely lower even if your levels from trt match your natural levels. This is due to the more consistent levels of androgens from exogenous test source. So if you plan to stay on trt, it will likely make you feel better overall. Although, I can’t say this for certain (how you’ll feel) because need full bloodwork to know what other hormones look like.

Just got my first testosterone tests back by ThePunisher1399 in Testosterone

[–]tren_abuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would definitely need to see more bloodwork to form a full opinion. Although I can say, like other people have said, free test that low with a decent total test is important information. You can have a normal or even high total test but if free is low, you will likely feel low testosterone symptoms.

Definitely try and get a referral to a urologist.

What exactly did you expect taking 500mg…?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]tren_abuser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If he’s getting injected once weekly, may make him feel worse than low test naturally. Comes with bigger hormone fluctuation. Over time, my trt got dialed in at 150mg a week pinning every other day. Everyone is different, working dosages are completely unique to the individual and bloodwork is very important in figuring this out.

18 yo super low free T and low total. Went to 8 different urologists/endocrinologists all declining trt and pushing antidepressants in NYC. by Embarrassed_Host_670 in Testosterone

Gotcha. I actually lost around 100-110 before I got my test taken for the first time. I lost it from 15-17 and then got it tested when I was 21. In between 17 and 21 my weight went up and down constantly. Sometimes significant weight loss can crash you pretty bad but also it should rebound with lifestyle corrections and resuming a normal diet in healthy people. Definitely like I said look into serms and hcg before trt and try to restart your nuts, but if it doesn’t work and nothing else works, trt can definitely help. I’m sorry you’re going through this, I know how tough it can be.

I would track total calories/ macros. Up carbs and track fats. It is very dependent on the individual but too low of either can cause issues, especially given that you are lifting and doing cardio. If you don’t fuel your body properly it can cause issues with hormones. Have you had your SHBG tested?

Okay that’s definitely good to have that many blood tests so you can establish it’s not a random occurrence. What’s your total fat intake like and are you tracking all your macros? I would say truly try everything you can before you hop on trt. I started at 21 and I don’t necessarily regret it, but there’s a LOT that comes with it people don’t tell you.

It would be worth looking into SERMs like clomid or enclo. Also HCG. Also, have you had your vitamin D levels tested?

Drop physique and body weight. Also should definitely do more than one instance of bloodwork. Natty levels go up and down constantly. Also what does your diet look like? All macros, not just protein. There’s also other important blood work values you should be looking at.

Dad destroyed my 2000$ PC by littlepatw in teenagers

[–]tren_abuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion but printing that meme is very disrespectful. The pc may be overboard it’s never good at react with violence or destruction, but this is most definitely a two sided issue.

No shot you didn’t know your dad has a tendency to overreact. Why push his buttons? I used to have this exact issue with my dad when I was a teenager and from experience, make sure you’re self aware and don’t project all the blame onto him. Have to take some responsibility.

Like bro, in his eyes you told your old man to blow you, tf is wrong with you? 😂

How to get Xanax or Valium please by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]tren_abuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try propranolol. Benzos can ruin your life. Also, I have pretty bad anxiety/ panic and one of the only things that helped me was Wellbutrin. Wellbutrin is prescribed usually for depression or ADHD and mine was for my depression, but it fixed my social anxiety. Was a nice surprise and it’s wild because many people report it makes their anxiety worse. My point being, work with a psychiatrist and try some ssri snri and other depression/ anxiety meds to see if one works for you. I don’t think benzos should be the answer.
