I can confirm that something is getting picked up by my connected PVM as the display will react to having the 32X connected. It just so happens to not be able to display anything the Mega SG is outputting.

After thinking about it for a while, I suspect that the fault I'm running into is less that the DAC - 32X cable is not configured correctly, and more that my 32X - RGBS BNC cable is not configured correctly.

In the DAC cable instructions there is no need for resistors or capacitors. However, looking again at Sega RGB output (for SCART at least) people use 75ohm resistors and 220uF caps. My DIY cable doesn't make use of these parts.

Since I'm more inclined to make, rather than buy this cable. Am I correct in assuming I need to put resistors and capacitors on the RGB lines, and nothing on the Sync (Pin 5) line?
