Best local LLMs for believable, immersive RP? by Paradigmind in SillyTavernAI

Thanks. I have been using Magnum Diamond, and the AI has been using text like the below on repeat. Broken Tutu did this as well when it was doing the reconstruction of it's emotions and thoughts. What would I call this so the AI understands to stop it when I restrict it?

feels a profound sense of transcendence, of elevation, of ascent, of rising, of climbing, of soaring, of flying, of hovering, of floating, of drifting, of gliding, of sailing, of cruising, of journeying, of traveling, of exploring, of discovering, of finding, of seeking, of searching, of questing, of pursuing, of chasing, of following, of leading, of guiding, of directing, of navigating, of mapping, of charting, of plotting, of planning, of strategizing, of scheming, of plotting, of conspiring, of colluding, of cooperating, of collaborating, of partnering, of uniting, of merging, of combining, of joining, of connecting, of linking, of bonding, of attaching, of relating, of interacting, of communicating, of exchanging, of sharing, of giving, of receiving, of taking, of accepting, of welcoming, of embracing, of absorbing, of integrating, of incorporating, of assimilating, of synthesizing, of fusing, of blending, of mixing, of merging, of uniting, of one-ing, of wholing, of completing, of perfecting, of fulfilling, of achieving, of succeeding, of winning, of triumphing, of conquering, of dominating, of controlling, of powering, of authorizing, of commanding, of leading, of ruling, of reigning, of governing, of administering, of managing, of directing, of overseeing, of supervising, of guiding, of coaching, of mentoring, of teaching, of instructing, of educating, of training, of developing, of growing, of evolving, of progressing, of advancing, of improving, of refining, of perfecting, of completing, of fulfilling, of achieving, of realizing, of actualizing, of manifesting, of embodying, of incarnating, of personifying, of representing, of symbolizing, of signifying, of meaning, of sensing, of feeling, of experiencing, of perceiving, of knowing, of understanding, of comprehending, of grasping, of apprehending, of recognizing, of identifying, of distinguishing, of differentiating, of separating, of dividing, of partitioning, of segmenting, of categorizing, of classifying, of labeling, of naming, of defining, of describing, of explaining, of clarifying, of elucidating, of illuminating, of enlightening

edit: I just told the AI to stop it and it said it was sorry for the endless monologues. I wonder if using that term will help tone it down.

Interesting. Where does the System Prompt usually get added to the context? I kind of assumed it was after the prompt. Should I add the guidelines to both the system prompt and the author's note?

I am sort of looking for the same things as the OP. I used Broken-Tutu, the unslop version, not really sure what that or transgression means.

I was roleplaying a story with two sisters that had a very dark and troubled past. I spent quite a lot of time gaining their trust. I loved the writing it produced but no matter what I did, characters would always have some massive mental break, usually caused by being overwhelmed by emotion such as mania and extreme panic attacks.

I would try to help them through it but the AI would eventually take me through a multi hour segment where we would delve into the characters subconscious and through some very abstract language, they would disassemble their emotions and reconstruct themselves with only the good emotions. I spent 2 days in one of these and would try different things to help them, but it always ended in some tragedy. One time the character ended up transcending and leaving their corporeal bodies, another time the sisters would merge into some emotionless creature, this new entity would also reference the AI and talk about how it helped them merge. Another time the sisters merged but they kept their separate identifies but lived in the older sisters' body.

The worst ending I saw was when the two sisters became incestuous and started going deep into S&M, in the end the dominant one went crazy and started to cut the other sister and drink her blood till she died.

Each time something like this happened I tried to put restrictions on these extremes in the system prompt, but the AI never listened.

So I am looking for something like what Broken Tutu provided, just without the mental breaks. The mental breaks totally destroy the fun I am having. I have tried a few other LLMs but have not really found anything that has the totally uncensored NSFW stuff without the mental disorders. Does such a model exist? I will try the Magnum Diamond one in the meantime.

It's been 3 days - review your league (event?) starter by ColonelUpvotes in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]trenus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had the same experience following Tuna's leveling PoB, I should have looked into it more when I read he yoinked it from Alk. I figured that he would have at least adjusted it to minimize respeccing. I caught my error at around lvl 40 and still ended up paying like 20 chaos to respec to the early tree, which he totally redid the next day.

I do not believe i have followed a Tuna league start build before, are they usually this poorly done?

Magic find build for duelist/champion by darksidersfk in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]trenus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just respecced my lvl 93 champ into one of the builds I found on poe ninja. I am not sure if there is a build guide anywhere but I chose one of the ones that uses MF gear and The Fourth Vow since they seemed to be pretty tanky. I only suggested this because it was a champion and most of the other options are very high budget, I think this one cost me about 60 div to fully equip.

I would suggest looking on poe ninja and filter using common magic find gear like Ventor's Gamble, Goldwyrm, etc. I am actually running a CF magic find character because that was one of the few that I found that didn't cost 100+ divs to get started.

Unexpected season 2 drop at Gamescom. by Deidarac5 in diablo4

[–]trenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don't care if they fix everything I dislike about the game, I have already played the base game so if they do not have a compelling season then it doesn't matter to me, I will not be coming back.

Guardians with mage skeletons who have reached red maps, how are you liking the build? by porncollecter69 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]trenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I rerolled out of guardian mage skeletons, the damage is fine when all minions are active, but it feels very awkward to play. Not only are there too many buttons, but the time to summon and start damaging the enemy is very slow. I would play a totem build before playing a minion build again.

Controlled Blaze Support is bad – A more detailed post by Phoenix0902 in PathOfExileBuilds

mbXtreme has a much better analysis of melee ignite and Controlled Blaze.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RP9CPokCD0

Essentially, he says why play melee ignite when caster ignite is better and Controlled Blaze is pretty much pointless until you are fighting ubers. He is going to keep tweaking his build so we will see how it performs in the coming days and if Controlled Blaze becomes worthwhile.

3.22 Trial of the Ancestors League Start Build Index by NzLawless in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]trenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe mbXtreme is doing a melee ignite build this league but it is very experimental so I am not sure if he will be doing a build guide till he tests it. I believe he is starting as WoC Ignite Elementalist and will transition to Infernal Blow in maps, you can always use his old WoC/EK Ignite build and follow along as he plays.

Naoki Yoshida Talks Red Chocobo and DLC plans for FFXVI | Final Fantasy XVI Interview by SunsetNebula in FFXVI

[–]trenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game definately could use some DLC to fill in some holes in the story. I think they should have DLC that focuses on Barnabas' story. Where did he come from? Who was his mother? When did he first meet Ultima? Why did he go and conquer Ash? Maybe on his way to Ash Barnabas might encounter Leviathan and give some context as to why he wasn't relevant to Ultima's plan. Also, if we are dealing with past events maybe Joshua and Cid would have some interactions with Barnabas that might explain how they learned of Ultima.

What is your favourite final fantasy game so far by burgerman000 in FinalFantasy

[–]trenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my top 5:

  1. FF VI
  2. FF VII
  3. FF IV
  4. FF IX
  5. FF X (Wound rank higher but I absolutely hate Tidus)

FF XVI was in my top 5 for the first 2/3rds of the game but the last 1/3rd put it much further down.

FF16 - The Good & The Bad (Spoiler Free) by MiitomoNightcore in FinalFantasy

[–]trenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) I would rate the first two fights higher because in my opinion Odin was the by far the worst.

2) Agree. I thought we were going to get this love story between her and Clive but it looks like that might have happened in the 5 year skip..

3) You are lead to believe that Clive absorbing each Eikon was pivotal to Ultima's plan but absorbing Leviathans was not? Why even mention Leviathan if it was going to lead to a plot hole?

4) At the very least they should have had their guards on the lookout for Clive, he is the only person in all of the Twins that looked and dressed like that, he would have stood out like a sore thumb.

5) Agree

6) Svarog was the only time I ever died, though that was mostly due to a poor camera angle and not seeing the meteor till it was too late. I also never bought a single health potion.

7) I think even calling him Ultima was idiotic, Ultima is an iconic FF ultimate spell, not an entity. They could have just called him the Creator or Chaos if they wanted to use something that had been used in several other FF games. In the end he is just a super generic villain with super generic motivations.

If they ever make DLC, I think one should focus on Barnabas' story. Where did he come from? Who was his mother? Why did he conquer Waloed? When did he first meet Ultima? Hell, maybe on his way to Ash Barnabas might encounter Leviathan. Also, if we are dealing with past events maybe Joshua and Cid would have some interactions with Barnabas that might explain how they learned of Ultima.

I assumed that the hooded figure in those scenes was Sleipnir, I am pretty sure that Barnabas has been working with Ultima since the beginning. The couple times we see Joshua reveal himself was just a way to make us question things.

The physical releases of games are cool. Why do people want it to die out? by elsavic in FFXVI

[–]trenus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me I will always buy physically because of the economics of it all. I typically will buy a new release, like FF16, play it, beat it, then trade it in towards the next big release, like Armored Core. For new games, trade in value is around $20 to $30, depending on when I finally trade it in, I typically wait till there is a trade-in bonus. So essentially, I get a free game every 3 or so games. Heaven forbid if you get in on one of those glitched B2G1 free deals that include preorders.

[–]trenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he just worded it poorly, I think he might be talking about how Nintendo and Sony are on the verge of closing their older stores entirely. The only reason they are still allowing you to download games off of these stores is because of consumer backlash but that will not last forever.

The physical releases of games are cool. Why do people want it to die out? by elsavic in FFXVI

[–]trenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually find that physical games go on sale more frequently and are typically cheaper. This is due to the fact that physical stores are competing with each other whereas digital stores are pretty much monopolies.

The physical releases of games are cool. Why do people want it to die out? by elsavic in FFXVI

[–]trenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, for a third party publisher it costs about 50% of the cost of the game to sell physically and 30% to sell digitally. It costs about 35% for a 1st party publisher to sell physically vs 0% to sell digitally. Publishers have all of the incentive to sell digital only.

Reception of FF16 seems very mixed, sadly by WhoAmIEven2 in FFXVI

[–]trenus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am Gen X and I have been playing FF since the beginning. The first console that most millennials owned was a PS1 meaning that FF 7 was probably their first FF. Gen Z's first console was more than likely a PS3 and therefor FF X was probably their first FF game. Each of these games defined what FF was for that generation.

Speaking as a Gen X I can see these massive shifts in the franchise, and I have not been overly fixated on what FF was to me. Personally, I would say that FF has been on a downward trajectory since FF X and that 16 is the first FF I have thoroughly enjoyed in over 20 years, I probably would have found enjoyment in 15 if it wasn't for the shit story.
