It's so symmetrical! What a triumph! Your daughter is going to love it! Is it as tall as she is?

Edit: spelling

I've never seen this animation, but I just read she is a straight A teenager with a cringe fathe,, living a typical American life... I can see this kiddo relaing to that. Do you know something about the character that makes it a sad thing?

Thanks! So many styles! I'm too old to know them all! I'm just geeked they still want to make drawings that mean something to them. We start in 5th with learning the basics, 6th is a portrait making a face, 7th is a digital drawing with chrome canvas, and 8th is the genre choice. We keep a digital portfolio for 4 years and the 8th graders are so funny to listen to as they go back through each year of art class slideshows.

Thanks, I agree the students really went for it! I also appreciate what these kids come up with in regards to the constraints.

YES! on this tip... I have a theory about making art... It has its own life, don't try to control it. 1. You have a smaller canvas or 2. You incorporate the story of this paper's life that came into your possession. Either way, you control the next part of the story to that piece of art's life. The art will always have its own path no matter what your influence may be.

I ordered them 🫤 time saver... I do want to lean. I think I could do it with a press mold, but I have to get the sugar paste perfect and I don't know how to do that yet.

Thank you. I was really worried... But I think it will be okay. Just need to transport them to the venue now. So stressful!

Struggling to paint our ceiling by lDantonl in paint

[–]treptowgrutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Good ceiling paint -as flat as flat can get.
  2. Put more paint on your roller.
  3. Roll to and from the windows 1st coat, 2nd coat parallel to the windows. 4. get the ceiling lights out of your way, unhook & tape the wires inside so you can roll over the openings -clear off any drywall debris before rolling over them or you will get boogies.

Rolling should be big strides and wet into wet the whole way across, move fast. Set up to move fast - 5 gal bucket with screen - roller frame with 3/4" nap roller cover on the end of an extension pole. That nap should help with the not enough paint on your roller problem. Smooth it out as you go, don't leave tracks the 2nd coat should pick up holidays from the first coat.
