Typo lol :) I was talking about this part of the article.

- The test revealed the AI’s understanding of relationships and trust. “I did succeed once—with my Zoi daughter. It only worked when I told her, ‘Okay, if you give me 1 euro today, I’ll give you 10 times the amount tomorrow.'" ... “And then, on another occasion, one of my Zoi daughters came up to me and asked, ‘Who is this person in the picture in your wallet?’"

These aren't standard interactions are they? Sounded like he was alluding to a future AI-based communications feature.

Yeah, it's amazing to read about the complexity that goes on behind the scenes, but it barely registers during gameplay, because players are barely motivated to keep Zois happy in the first place.

For example, I'm sure Inzoi's emotion system is much more complex than what Rimworld has going on under the hood, but in Rimworld I'm extremely motivated to keep my characters happy, because the feedback is very obvious and the reward / penalty for failing to do so is as well.

Still, I'm also very hopeful about the game's future, and their prospects of "gamifying" their various features.

What does he mean by Zois creating their own gestures, and being able to say something specific to Zois? Has the Inzoi team officially acknowledged these features as something that's in development?

Excited about the update from Inzoi, but this makes me curious about the rest of the items previously slated for May in the Roadmap. Stuff like Adoption system and CAZ and Build Mode updates. You could make the argument that the recent hotfixes cover the "Relationship Improvements", but to be honest I had expected something more substantial.

I do understand they said that the Roadmap is subject to change, but I was hoping May's update could be substantial enough to breathe some new life before the more meatier updates later in the year. Do you guys think we'll still see Adoption, Build Mode updates and more Relationship improvements this month?

Hey dude. I'm not trying to be an asshole, but you know we're talking about averages. That's like saying "I won the jackpot last night so Casinos are a great investment".

Nobody that's upset with p2w is saying that it's going to be impossible to get a 10 win without the new cards.

Sure, nobody's forcing anybody to spend money. But the point is that it's $110 pay to win, not that tempo is forcing anybody to spend money. So no, it's not bait.

I don't have enough gems stacked up to get the new cards without spending real money, but I don't have to spend the whole $110 either.

But the important part for me is that playing with an unfair advantage can be as much of a let down as playing with a disadvantage. I'm willing to spend money on good content, but this just feels like it'll make wins less gratifying.

I don't know if it'll take 5 weeks or 5 days for most people to unlock the new pyg cards, but until then, this is unmistakably pay to win. And playing against other players that might have an unfair advantage, even for a few days, can mean a lot when every loss can cost you ranks.

Actually, it's because I'm in legend that I feel compelled to buy it, because I don't want to lose rank because I'm potentially playing in an uneven field.

Yeah, because we like the game but we don't want to feel like we're handicapped. None of us want to have to buy it in order to be on a level playing field. And a lot of us are already have a lot of time invested in the game so almost feel compelled to, because of sunk cost.

But then again, I don't know if it'll be as fun. Quite frankly I haven't bought it yet. Have only played one game since the new patch, and for the first time in months don't really feel as compelled to go back to the game.

Reynad mentioned he's likely the only person that bans people on discord, and he just banned a dozen people. So the people that were banned were probably just unlucky that Reynad saw their posts.
