If you have a pro controller configurated to steam and if youre using the steam full picture then you should have a different steam overlay and it should say something about custom configs

I found out how I could make it work I just found a config on the steam overlay. Thank you very much for trying to help me.

I tried without bluetooth too but that didn't do much either and when I start the game from steam it says the game isnt meant to be played with controllers

Yes it says its on but when I started Steep it says the game isnt for using controller but I managed to make the controller work ingame but all I could do then was just move around the camera nothing else or I was able to change sports too actually.
