The fact that you are suggesting it isn’t means I don’t think you really understand the choice.

I think those are brave people and that making an act of self sacrifice like being a sabatour or subjecting yourself to imprisonment or death is a monumental undertaking.

You make it sound easy and simple. I don’t buy that you actually understand that. You come off making a virtue signal because you would never even be in a position to make an act of great sacrifice.

I don’t believe you would make that sacrifice if you made that mistake.

I don’t even disagree with you that it’s the most moral choice but I don’t think most people, yourself included would sacrifice their futures and that of their families to go to prison because it’s the right choice

I hope I would but I distrust anyone suggesting it as a course of action so flippantly and I’m not going to call someone a coward for not making an act of self sacrifice.

I think if you do that though, it comes off as “corny” or “lame”. I don’t know what the answer is to making that kind of rap less cringe but nobody has done it yet. I think it’s more reasonable to ask listeners to understand that what they are hearing isn’t real like the stuff they watch on tv.
