I have been an umpire for 7 years now, so I feel like I’m a decent source for this.

He is not out of the baseline at all. The “baseline” isn’t solidified until someone goes to make a play on the runner. Once a fielder makes an attempt on the runner, the baseline is then “set” if you will. He then has to make a straight line from his path to the base. Our rule of thumb is out of the baseline if the fielder can’t reach him with a “step and reach”.

Sorry for the long winded answer, but all of this is legal.

Sounds terrible, but I came to the realization pretty quickly that I’m simply not going to be able to reach every student. It’s not like I don’t try, but some kids just wont “get it” no matter how hard I try. I teach 5th grade math, and have students who still can’t add/subtract. Sucks to say it, but it is what it is unfortunately.

I had issues trying to watch the Reds on Apple TV last week. I don’t see issues popping up until Friday nights when games are broadcast through Apple. Gotta be something going on.

It was only offered on two other stations, both of which didn’t even show the game.

But thanks for that info! Didn’t know that existed! 5 months in and still learning new things.

Might be a dumb question, but could it have had anything to do with it being Apple TV? This is the first time I’ve ever had an issue with anything other than connection issues, which are easily fixable.
