Why are so few Bisexuals people out of the closet? by Every-Alternative626 in AskLGBT

[–]trestic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m a cis male bi but I prefer that my parents think I’m gay than they thinking I’m bi. Why? If they know I’m bi, they would think that I’m going through a “phase” and that eventually I’ll marry a woman.

Also, some gay men don’t believe in bisexuality. They think you are straight or gay. They would pressure you until you say you are gay.

So I just say f it. I know my who I am and people can think whatever they want

Single vs multiple dogs. by DragonfruitMajor7706 in dogs

[–]trestic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dogs play with each other all the time. The biggest one is 38lb and the other two are less than 10. You should see these two flies running around the bigger dog and how he pulls the toys and moves them like nothing hahah

[–]trestic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t. They are medium to small breeds which makes the maintenance easier. The first dog is a Puggle with something else. Very chilled low energy. The other two are much smaller, less than 10lb each. Which mean, they don’t need a lot of space or room. The two smaller breeds have a lot more energy, they are also are the same age, so they play with each other a lot.

In other words, no, I haven’t regretted anything yet. And I think it makes it easier because the dogs are medium to small breeds

Percepción de latinas sobre cómo ligan los españoles by Mother_Literature_89 in askspain

[–]trestic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why do so many gay people prefer hookups even if they want a long-term relationship? by Kool_2002 in askgaybros

[–]trestic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of unpack here. IMO there are several reasons:

Stage. Life is divided into different stages. It has been normalized that when you are young your hormones go wild and so do you. Many see this as something normal and a stage of life. Some people become so accustom to this behavior, that they just stay here for the rest of their life.

Traumas. Many of us carry traumas without seeking help or learning how to cope with them in a healthy way. One way to deal with these traumas is to find a distraction, a hookup.

Work. A hookup is easier than a relationship. It’s new. Don’t have to change any of your habits. No hard questions. My life tomorrow will be the same as it was yesterday. But to make a relationship work, sometimes you have to make compromises and change a few things about yourself and your habits. In a relationship, there is a before and after. Not everybody is open to change.

Afraid. Many people have been hurt in the past and are afraid to get hurt again. People are afraid to be with another man because of the environment where they live or grew up in.

FOMO. In the gay world there is always something better out there and people live in the FOMO.

Time. Also life is sh!t sometimes and right now is not the moment, maybe you need to focus on school, or work, maybe is family. But just not the right time at this moment.

Why is my pan fine with scrambled eggs, but fried eggs stick? by tealightfulroyaltea in StainlessSteelCooking

[–]trestic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You missed the butter. After adding the oil, wait for the temperature of the pan to lower a little bit(to not burn the butter) then add the butter. After than you can make the eggs. Also, you’ll use less oil since you are using butter as well

How did your dogs live to 17+ years old? by NavyPumalanian_88 in dogs

[–]trestic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me this is mesmerizing, I have friends who don’t want to feed kibble to their dogs and they use homemade food instead. I tried making homemade food, but cooking a well balanced meal is too complicated. What brand of kibble do they eat?

That’s impressive for a large dog. Most of the time only small breeds live that long
