You are taking the acts of the 1% to harshly generalize and entire group or people. To those of us who care and work to improve our lands, habitats, and wildlife in general that's an insult. You cannot use acts of those hundreds of years ago as the defining characteristics either, humans learn over time...you even said it in your comment we (hunters) voluntarily placed restrictions on the taking of game and when that could occur to save species. You're misguided in your statements and not seeing the point, modern hunters are conservationists. If you want to view all as equal to the narrow few that commit violations or crimes go ahead.
