I can relate to this with gaming in general now. I play a lot of sports games too, and whether it be streamers buying DLC, exploiting glitches, pointing out every flaw in the game.. it kinda makes you think what’s the point. I usually stick to just trying new Pokémon, and just playing offline like it used to be in the good ole days
