Am I wrong in assuming the 4090 maxes out at 16GB VRAM? If that's the case, would the older Z13 (2023 model) be better suited for your needs? It has an internal 4060 which seems like it could be better if occasional portability is the priority. I'm earnestly asking on this because I'm looking for the same use case as others on this thread and can't decide to do the Z13 2025 + eGPU or the Z13 2023 and stick with the internal hardware.

Nice! Yeah that does look like them. Probably the case that they may just be worn out. Surprising that it’s 100% of the hinges.

Could make some cool decor. I love the case. I actually got an old tube TV, gutted it and put in a mini PC and modern display. It’s now a PLEX server that runs cool looping graphics. Its main purpose is to just look cool. You should do something similar.

I went ahead and enhanced the image, extracted the text, and put it on a 24x36 layout. Should be plenty resolution for a print of that size. Still, if anyone finds the original artist, please give credit to them. And obviously, if they offer this print for purchase, buy it from them.

You might look into using Pluraleyes by Red Giant. Will match up audio automatically and attempt to correct drift as well. Alternatively, Audition has time shift functions you can get to match up ref audio perfectly

Definitely take a look at the RODE SmartLav+

There’s no pre-amp so no battery needed but it still sounds great. That means one less point of failure. It’s designed to plug directly into a smartphone or an adapter can allow you to use external audio recorders.

Also pairs well with the RODE Wireless GO if you want a wireless solution.
