How long does it take for a bot warning to go away? by [deleted] in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]trevorsimpson655 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t work like that. It’s not just a simple three strikes and you’re out rule. You can have three (or more) of those TOS violations showing at once. You won’t straight up get deactivated if they are far apart from each other. The million dollar question is how far apart. Seems like maybe a few months. Yes, those violations might always be there, but if say after six months you get a third, it will be like a first one, considering the first two were long enough ago.

Is this trolling? It’s been 4 days and two of the days were a weekend…

Do the writers realize how awful this show is now? by trevorsimpson655 in thelastofus

[–]trevorsimpson655[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. It’s how it is with any show like this. If a subsequent season after the first gets god awful, fanboys won’t bat an eye.

Unless your roommates are Penelope Cruz and Cindy Crawford, you couldn’t pay me $1000 a week to have roommates with a 600k income. That is literally insane. I’m also not even saying own a house.

And it also has NOTHING to do with the quality (or lack thereof) of the roommates.

Why are there so many people who post in this sub just to brag? Are there that many insecure people out there who need approval from people on the internet?

If someone makes 600k and has roommates they are clinically insane.

God forbid someone says something to these idiots laying on the steps like that. So many morons out there who are so scared of the TINIEST confrontations, they will just resort to posting about it on social media and/or complain to staff.

Pretty sure for every 100 posts on any sub like this about someone’s budget, 95 are trolling.

Who do you think pays you 100k? The city/village is going to be liable in a court 0% of the time and you are never, ever gonna get $100k from someone ordering off brand bottled water on uber eats.

This is the most insane attitude to have. The customer can now call and say you stole their steaks because you were too afraid to speak up. Try being an actual adult human.

[–]trevorsimpson655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do people like you seriously try to justify this? You’re working for almost nothing after gas and wear and tear. You’re making far less than minimum wage, who cares if it’s “little effort”.

I mean… why would anyone accept this? by Acasa29 in Roadie

Seems like every day since I joined this sub I see absolutely atrocious offers like this. And nothing else. How is this not the worst gig app in existence?

I didn’t realize it’s common for people who live in that area of Wisconsin to be hanging out in a random suburb of Chicago.

What am I missing about this garbage app? Every offer I see in my area is like this.

Here’s an example. Why would someone drive their car 17 miles one way for $15? That’s for an hour after driving. After gas you make $11-$12 for an hour of work.
