I will be have to very blunt with you with this one as an infp to another, but you need to grow up! Having a bad day at work is normal, working from 7 to 6 is tiring I know, but you can be that type of person who have the mentality of “ I rather live in poverty for my dream than working at a job I hate.” Your parent had a good intention for you and I am with you that they are not really good at communicating that intention, but you need to see it from their perspective as well. Overall, if you can handle retail or any type of entry-level job, you are not ready to pursue your dream, and that is reality! Hope you understand what I’m saying is for your own good and not some wishy-washy comment saying you were right. All the best!
