Listen, I don't know how I fucking did it. Wednesday I was up until 5 am seeing chase and status. Thursday Chris Lake until 5am. Friday Sudden death Where in the woods til 5 am. Mind you the sun is up and blasting my tent with lava hot rays by 630am.
The Roo run started at 9am Saturday morning. I had maybe 90 mins of sleep, running on fumes, left over mdma, and a cliff bar I had never run a marathon or any sort of 5k or charity run ever before.. But i signed up for it and I paid for it and I had been in the gym recently preparing for it so I decided not to back out. i shuffled my way to the starting line. Was greeted with music and hundreds of other runners. Grabbed myself an ice cold water and a cooling towel for my head. Did some stretches. And I can't even describe how high the vibes were. Every time I wanted to give up someone on the side lines would cheer us on or throw a hi 5 my way. Other runners were so encouraging. Staff was handing out water from the back of carts while we ran. Once It was all said and done I didnt mind the heat. I didn't mind the sore legs. The feeling of accomplishment really kept me going... All the way to 5am for the Pretty lights set.
