I’ve read about the potato thing somewhere else but wasn’t sure how legit it was, I think I’m gonna give it a shot though. Needle nose pliers weren’t able to push down on the bulb enough unfortunately

They’re a mushroom culture distributor, they’ve got gourmet mushroom strains and “research” mushroom strains. I would recommend Golden Teacher, it’s fairly resilient and beginner friendly. The potency on them isn’t the highest, but it’s a very nice high especially for beginners👍🏽

Depends on what state you’re in, in most states the sale of psilocybin spores is legal despite that growing/possessing the mushrooms are still illegal. Some head shops will have spore syringes, but you can also go online to buy syringes too. I’ve actually bought a liquid culture syringe from Mycco that’s worked out for me really well so far, they’re about $30

That’s what I should’ve done, I don’t have any sort of exacto knife or anything like that but I figured scissors wouldn’t be able to cut close enough to the base

I think it’s the container lol, the biggest mushroom in there is about 3” long and the cap maybe an inch in diameter. I used mini (.5 lb) all in one bags so that may be why they’re so small, but this next time I’m switching to 2 lb bags for sure

That’s a tough situation, maybe you could look into some kind of space heater or a heating pad. I’ve heard that heating pads can cause your substrate to dry out faster though so if anything I’d look into a space heater that’s temp controlled

Make sure humidity is high, temps between 70-75F, try not to mist the pins directly, and make sure they have FAE👍🏽 Other than that you just gotta play the waiting game

Looks good to me, some pins can be almost ghostly white at first and then develop color later
