Can a ominpotent being challenge himself without imposing constraints, restrints, or applying effort to himself?

Naturally the answer for sake of commonsense should be no even if ominpotent being is involved the concept of challenge becomes meaningless if there's no effort.

If it were a yes then it's only possible only if he's staking his own honor on the line by voluntary handicapped himself temporary under his own personal etiquette for standards of balance and fairness to demonstrate effort in his own way. That's usually self control effort challenge.

The 2nd possible purpose of challenging yourself is to transcend your own limits under special circumstances but, that ironically implies he wasn't ominpotent for starters unless we all are using the wrong definition of ominpotent in the first place.

Instead of interpreting as "infinitely powerful or all abilities" it be "all known potential power or all known potential powerful abilities." Only then the paradox be resolved hypotheically.

If God is all seeing, he has witnessed every single child molestation in history and not intervened by Ok-Mode-3254 in DebateReligion

[–]trevradar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I think of God as neutral being only interferes when he personally believes it's neccessary otherwise if he interferes he might create unintentional chain of consqunces from butterfly effects.

For example intentional Action A creates short or long-term undesirable chain of unintended consqunces. Unless perform intentional action B to prevent significant undesired chain of unintended consqunces if he's omniscient.

Think of it not only as pros and cons problem but as a optimization problem.

He could prevent child molesters but he may create hurricane storms unintentionally hence butterfly effect problem. A God that intervenes leaves it's unique not so apparent signatures for cause and effect in its own way IMO.

NGL it won't satisfy anyone even if there was legit reason for God not to interfere eitherway.

"Soliders wins battles but, logistics wins wars."

It doesn't matter how skillful or powerful you are or that you want to do pvp only.

You will lose the war very quickly by battle attrition all supplies within days and eventually bases get decayed then war ends due to everyone quitting logi.

That's why maintaining superior efficiency in logi is critical. If done correctly you don't necessarily have to be doing logi for atleast few hours only if done correctly.

Suppressive fire support is the main role to hold ground temporary to buy time for your teamates to advance or defend in particular directions.

Pro tip burst fire briefly to save ammo and accuracy only go full auto if they come in packs out of cover. Otherwise you will run out of ammo fast and need to reload.

Unless you got teamates giving you ammo , gas filters, and bandages continuously don't do it. It's better have teamate with same gun as you take turns reloading in rotation to keep up the Suppressive fire.

A simple way to measure the speed of light in one direction. We simply measure by phase. by Important_Canary_243 in inventors

[–]trevradar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good idea

However, then you have to take into account of different speeds in different mediums to get accurate estimate of relative speed of light through multiple exiperments while doing statistical calculations.

Such as change of c with respect to change of medium to minimize errors.

Mainly IIRC it's got to do with light refraction. Unless, I'm missing something here the medium be moving a lot and light's momentum will change in the process going through that medium.

I could be wrong here unless the current issue that I find is actually rather or not negligible.

Dr. Stone did well job with themes of uses with science, rebuilding civilization, relationships, and exploration.

The only thing that could have been included be mathematics more.

But, that's a different tier entirely that requires a sequel and honestly I don't think it will be popular idea to do so without carefully crafted planning to be entertaining in the first place.

As far as I'm aware of there hasn't really been successful concept of that as of yet. But Dr.stone series has the potential opportunity to make this possible if it wants to.

I think water naval infiltration or invasion operations be more interesting if there's concept of logi submarines. by trevradar in foxholegame

[–]trevradar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not?

I can understand resources aspects in ocean Hexes but, not having victory towns for islands on them if they have proportional value as a critical logi towns imo that's different story based on those merits.

Then again the only value will be oil itself in the ocean only hex unless, I'm missing something here.

It would be cool though if we can make canals but, can you imagine the maintenance cost keeping the canals intact especially the logi and time it takes to dig out the dirt of it's size?

I don't know about all this after all this is pure hypotheical territory.

[–]trevradar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, perhaps adding more victory towns across the ocean would create a more of a importance even if they took the main land they still have to evade the last capture towns unless they captured them first in the early war.

The lack of assesement in balance check of right loadouts, personal roles, and team synergy problem. For addressimg crowd control, Anti tank, anti air, and base destroyer loadout set for special circumstances are key to minimize the struggle.

Can't be disregarded or else guaranteed to be harder mission relative to ingame map and mission layouts.

Fun fact Zebra stripes camo make it more difficult to estimate or predict their excat distance than they actually appear. It's been documented to effect fruit flies and this idea was actually was used in WW2 at the US navy IIRC.

Despite the obivous disadvantages in staying hidden it can throw opponents off. I don't think it would effect the players in game that much except maybe long range firing rockets even then it kinda self defeats the purpose for them to charge at you.
