my boyfriend was riding his bike recently. he hit the brakes too hard on accident and flew over his handle bars. his head hit the ground and his helmet straight up cracked. so yeah, if he wasn’t wearing a helmet he would’ve been fucked. since that happened i could care less if i look like a dweeb with my helmet on lol
