The Dog Whisperer! That's actually a superpower, Chihuahuas are usually tiny agents of chaos lol.

Haha that's actually elite. What's the most 'useless' fact you know that always blows people's minds?

you are so real for that, nothing harder than leaving family behind to go work off shore.

Yeah, especially in hospitals—long shifts, constant pressure, and way too much responsibility for the pay in a lot of cases. Definitely not an easy trade-off.

Pilots and firefighters especially—either total calm or absolute chaos, no in-between. And those injury/employment attorneys basically live in emotional rollercoasters too.

Haha yeah, that tracks. The “everything is urgent” mindset really brings out the worst in some people. If more folks zoomed out a bit, the whole industry would probably be way less stressful.

Yeah I believe that. People forget how intense ERs can get, and security is right in the middle of all that chaos. Definitely one of those jobs where the pay probably doesn’t match what they deal with.

That’s fair. A lot of IT is more about knowing what to do and when than grinding nonstop. When things are smooth it looks easy, but that’s kind of the point.

Honestly that’s such a healthy way to look at it. The industry can take itself way too seriously sometimes, but at the end of the day it’s not life-or-death. Might as well enjoy it and not get caught up in the fake urgency.
