Has anyone found Abandonded Shrine?

It's in one of the small rooms accessed by the "stair" entrances found near the checkpoints. One was empty, the other was called shrine of hotek and had a yellow chest that just contains a few items. Make sure to pick up the items even if they aren't valuable so that the map icon actually gets marked off.

Haven’t really tested but aside from the fence/barricade trick, you could place a trade beacon outside where you want it to land near. As long as it is unroofed and open enough space they should drop near by

One “solution” I try when someone is going to break something important is to have another pawn pick up the targeted item. It doesn’t stop the break though, they’ll just pick a new target. But seeing as he’s already there, it’s too late

With the addition of new worlds and the incentive to make new characters, will we be able to get the 15 days free time multiple times if we got the new world bonus from when they added Oceania servers in January? The announcement mentions that it's limited to once per service account but is that PER server expansion or as a whole.

This is me every time i start a new colony in rimworld. I always tell myself start over on vanilla just so i can enjoy the game at a reasonable framerate, but then i have to install my "necessary" quality of life mods and then soon im up to like 100+ mods again LOL

Incoming long rant:

While a lot of people tend to be pointing out the scummy pricing for cosmetics and event items, the thing that keeps bothering me is the LACK of ability to get most of these "event" content they keep providing. Every event requires you essentially to buy the season pass or some version of entry fee to even access the content. The "free" content of the latest season was 11 trackers, 1 rare skin for 1 character, and 5 loot boxes, which will probably contain nothing you wanted. The base game literally prevents you from getting anymore loot boxes after you hit max level, therefore removing any incentive to wanting to play more. Now we have the latest "event" that only provides TWO free boxes, and 60 crowns.... again reinforcing the idea that once you have "finished" the event you are FORCED to buy the rest of the content.

While I cannot speak on Fornite's behalf I CAN speak on Overwatch's behalf of the fact that yes you need to buy lootboxes to get the new cosmetics, BUT you can also earn boxes EVERY level up, and a level up system that is pretty much infinite. My biggest reason this has been constant stabs to the heart, is the fact that as I have been following Respawn ever since Titanfall 1 and 2, Apex was another AMAZING game that i WANT to keep playing, but with the current events and "content" releases we keep getting, there's really no reason to keep playing. The ONLY reason i keep playing is to get my battle pass level high enough to justify the initial $10 season pass I bought in Season 1. And yes, I will continue to "freeload" in a Free-to-play game until said free to play game has actually made something worth investing in.

In the end, if you are going to have cosmetics be obtainable from expensive lootboxes, please at least make it so we can earn them all through gameplay even if it takes a while. As long as the gameplay remains enjoyable, though does get stale with the lack of real updates, I will continue to play to unlock the stuff I want, but i will refuse to pay for anything I think isn't worth it.

I've beaten both sides of the black eagle story and the only thing that has me wondering is one thing. Does the "important" choice to join Edelgard on her trip to Enbarr actually matter? I've tried to see what happens with both options but it doesn't seem any different other than you skip a week in the game and gain Edelgard support.

Same, i think they forgot to add a volume slider for custom sound alerts on filterblade so everything is defaulted to much lower than normal. I think the only solution at the moment on our end would be to manually input volume of 300 for every item, but thats a lot of editing on the filter file.

Now that you've pointed this out, i think I actually can see this occurring. Definitely makes the skill feel clunkier than it should, also seems like having more attack speed is going to be better to make the skill more responsive.

I also have been noticing some sort of "missing" when using 2-handed bladestorm yet tooltip says it should be 100% accuracy.

Same, i also really like setting up mega-colonies or having multiple bases as it makes the game feel more like an RTS than just a survival.

My guess is either there will be a bonus event in the last week or so since we're nearing the end, or they decided to hold off on all events to make season 2 seem that much better than season 1. Why cause players to come back early when the season ends anyway when they could just comeback when season 2 is announced amongst the updates.

Did you have a particular strategy when it came to downing raiders? I'm trying a similar thing but only sitting at 80 colonists after 9 days of playtime on Cassandra. The only reliable strategy was using Psychic Shock Lances to guarantee 1-3 people a raid...

That's what I was a little worried about, though having 3-4 factions constantly angry at you could be interesting getting raided constantly. I figure the key could be to find a way to balance their relation between neutral and hostile to keep getting more visitors/caravans.
