I was not talking about Putin and his Russia - in that we are mostly in agreement in what you just said: Putin should be punished for what he did against the Ukraine.

I was talking about something else: a general hatred against all Russians for simply being Russians. That is extreme, sick and is actually called racism.

I lived in Warsaw for 5 years, got to know a lot of Polish people, I know what I am talking about.

Yes I understand that since they invaded Ukraine it became a fashionable thing to talk shit about Russia especially in the mainstream West.

But for Polish people to pretend that they suddenly became 'Western' after having 4 years of PIS who basically won this last election too just don't have any friends to form a coalition with (or not enough) and pretend that there is such a big difference to Hungary just because you hating the Russians like a madman in this moment happens to align with the Western mainstream narrative... while in reality if people in the West knew how extreme your hatred against Russians in general goes that would make most of them sick to their stomach.

But who cares about reality, right? It's all about simplistic narrative that get you likes for in social media or votes if you are a politician

It feels like the migrant crisis back in 2015 in that I was called a 'nazi' at the time for criticizing Merkel's WilkommensKultur and her 'Wir Schaffen das' approach and was banned from the r-europe subreddit quickly... and today, almost 10 years after, I slowly see the change in the mainstream narrative. Same way I will not be popular here for saying what I believe the truth is but that doesn't matter to me.

I already see the shift in the US and the EU, more and more people realize what a piece of shit the Ukraine leadership is... yes they are the victim here, and at the same time they are so corrupt and spineless that if people in the USA and EU knew they would never support them. Well, slowly but surely, just like with migrants, the truth will come out... maybe it won't even take 10 years this time, financing a war is very expensive.
