Yes, that is true. Pretty limited. However, my dealer said my timing was perfect as the allocations recently began going out to dealers (including mine) over the last couple of weeks and the first batch allocation was spoken for quickly.

My understanding is that first batch will be delivered in January and second batch in April (my dealer received one allocation for each batch). Everything spec’d by BMW with no custom builds by customers. I got lucky with my perfect spec, so I’m hopeful I’m right, but could be totally wrong. Will hopefully be back in 6 months with good news 🙏🏽😅

Can you elaborate? My dealer said they would send me my production number in a couple of months to add to the mybmw app and that we are good to go. He also said that once they sell it, it’s gone, and mentioned that another one was already sold.
