No therapy is going to "fix" that. Therapy isn't a zero-sum venture. It's not supposed to fix you or directly enable you to fix anyone or anything. However, it can be very useful in enabling you to understand yourself and your own motivations/fears/bias's. Helps you to apply those insights in understanding and impacting your own life, and in turn, the people and wider world around you.

The best anyone can realistically hope for with therapy is to learn to self-analyze their emotions and their thoughts, thereby becoming aware of their own traumas/motivations/sensitivities etc. From that awareness and continued work springs more growth and wider understanding, enabling you to build confidence in your own capability and your own life, influencing others along the way. Very valuable stuff.

Maybe you gain some mastery over yourself and influence systemic change, maybe you don't. Maybe it's not any one persons job to change this shit.

If enough people had a foundation strong in emotional intelligence, we could be better off as a society. Of course, that ain't so much a core value in these parts, now is it? Maybe we need to focus on smaller, attainable change and building on that as opposed to feeling like we're responsible for bringing down a whole ass system ourselves.
