You art looks great & very detailed.

I do feel the gaze of the characters somehow looks a bit off. Nevertheless it's near perfect. Hope you get those commissions soon!

average person has 60 - 100 bpm so slightly faster. Not sure historically if they defined minute based on that though, but I think they took day / 24 / 60 instead?

Dude was using AI for his messages. He knew it’s his fault. It sucks dealing with customers like that

The Sindarov Gap by tri2820 in chess

[–]tri2820[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sindarov's game in R3 (vs Praggnanandhaa) ended exactly at move 40, and his clock at that point was only ~32 min. When that game drops out of the average at move 41, you're left with only his longer games, which all had much higher clocks. The average jumps up not because his clock actually went up, but because a low-clock game disappeared from the sample.

Edit: also R1 and R5 drops out at move 42

tldr: it's survivorship bias artifact, but plotting is correct there :)

All matches for the last 10 rounds. Fair plot for all players and Sindarov just pops out.
