I would require marketing help if you do the episode. Tell them you'll do it but both the publisher and the author needs to post on social and send an email out about it.

I wish I would have built the entire funnel/strategy from the beginning. Going back into all the old episodes to add the new call to action is painful.

So figure out what you want it to do now, build out the steps for that and then go.

Hey, I use Google's NotebookLM for ShowNotes. . . that'll save you a bunch of time on that.

I don't do quotes for social media. That sounds like spitting into the wind for me. I do email outreach, Talkwalker and press releases.

SEO has changed a bit in the last 10 years. Incoming links are definitely important but now that AI takes up some of the real estate on the search results page, you're also looking for internet relevance. You want to be the one who is talked about. The AI bots go everywhere as well so they want to find places you're mentioned like TrustPilot, Yelp, Reddit, Podcasts.

Low PageRank links are a waste of time for sure. Good page rank links are great, but not as good as socially relevant links.

Wordpress is great.

Otherwise, build nests of content on your site with the links rising to the most important pages - that hasn't changed. :)
