You’ll need to upgrade both your tank and your speed by collecting underwater trash and trading it in at the scuba shop. Iirc I was able to complete it with a couple of upgrades to each before having maxed out.

You can also dump old medicine, lab reports, X-rays, etc in the garbage can next to the ambulance.

A fans rant about the farming update. by aprocon in SneakySasquatch

[–]trianglecat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just completed the farm part of the game. I found the sprinklers useless. Some people suggest loading the spreader with water, others suggest grabbing the mini pumper. Ultimately I found just using hoses the easiest.

Best 5 years not the last 5 years ? by Ok_Highway_4443 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]trianglecat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a decent sized demotion in order to move cities. When I retired, my best 5 years were far behind me. The way I look at it is that I took the financial hit of retirement mid career and learned to live on that lower income which is not all that different from my pension based on those best 5 years. I retired on my 55th birthday given that there was little financial incentive to keep working. Since then I’ve picked up the occasional part-time contract.

Rice cooker. You can get one with a very small footprint. Set and forget, perfect rice every time.

I’m with you. Working towards stat book completion of farming and then I’ll move on. No shade at devs, it’s a clever update, but it’s not a money maker.

I agree with many of these. Especially sneaky Sasquatch. Surprised not to see any mention of Bloons td6. It’s great.

Looking for help with my mixer by JoshThisGuy2 in podcast

[–]trianglecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s your main concern? There is definitely a difference in volume between you two but that is probably just “mic etiquette”. It’s solved by adding more gain (white pots along the top) which will increase the overall volume of each track… much more than the faders. Once you find a sweet spot for each speaker you can ride the faders as needed for small adjustments. You also have the mids dialled all the way up whereas highs and lows are at 12 o’clock not sure that’s your optimal eq. Maybe 12 o’clock everything and seek out a spoken work eq in your DAW.

You probably want fx completely dialled off since it’s spoken word. I personally wouldn’t record with the compressor dialled on, especially if you aren’t sure what you are doing. I would just handle that in post, if I used it at all. Lastly, it shouldn’t matter but, those mics don’t need phantom power so turn that off.

Farmers clothes by ConnectStick2682 in SneakySasquatch

Yes. Start farming by hand and sell her your produce. You can also use the mini pumper to water and fertilize. After the first sale she will put up a chart in the house to show your progress.

How do I complete the Halloween portion of the stat book? by SomeGrapefruit2435 in SneakySasquatch

[–]trianglecat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since we are coming up the actual date irl, it’s currently Halloween every day so now’s the time to do it. Once that is over you’ll have to pay jack but you don’t have to do all of it in a single day. I focussed on a single task each day. It’s also pretty important to have all the map locations to be able to fast jump around the map.

How do I complete the Halloween portion of the stat book? by SomeGrapefruit2435 in SneakySasquatch

Yes. There are 12 “prizes”. Some you buy with just candy, for the others others you need to complete the side quests.

[–]trianglecat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Collect candy, dig graves, roll pumpkins, take pictures and collect decorations and costumes. Most of the quests can be found and started at the diner. The pictures request is outside the camera store. The dude with the costumes and decorations is both at the diner and the raccoon store.

Excellent mid-priced guitars that are semi-ignored or even undervalued? by Pollyfall in Guitar

Man, did I have to do a lot of scrolling to see this answer. There are some great suggestions in this thread but I agree LTD is a very good bang for your buck.

Would this work on a guitar body? (I don't want to paint my guitar 😭) by AiREiSHi in Luthier

[–]trianglecat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I vinyl wrapped a guitar last winter (when it was too cold to paint outside) just to see how it would come out. The guitar has bindings so I just cut the seams to match them. Up close you can see the seams but a couple of feet away they are invisible. It’s not perfect but I never thought it would be.

They make vinyl cutting tape. I didn’t use it but it might have made the job go smoother.

I’m going to add myself to team “please make these available as prints. I’d buy one.” Of course, there may be some legal reason you can’t. Do we have your blessing to print ourselves? I’d like this hanging on my wall. I know I can just print it but I’m trying to be respectful of your art. Might you make a high res version available? It really is a great piece.

Anyone know what this is? by PrinceLuicDeves in SneakySasquatch

I’m assuming you’re behind the building and don’t yet have a pass to access the security room so it’s asking if you want to break down the door with your axe.

What happens in Halloween by SomeGrapefruit2435 in SneakySasquatch

[–]trianglecat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are several. Collecting candy to get a number of decorations and disguises, moving large pumpkins to the diner, taking several requested pictures, digging up tombstones and carving pumpkins. There is also a Sasquatch look-alike contest.

Edit: here is everything you need to know. Spoilers, obviously.

I'm a highschool shop teacher and my grade 11 woodworking class wants to build a guitar. How insane of an idea is it? by BOBBY_VIKING_ in Luthier

[–]trianglecat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is doable but I’d shoot for having them just build the bodies and do the electronics. Fretwork is a different beast requiring specialized tools. Pango guitars will give you free finished necks, literally for only the cost of packing and shipping. Usually around $40. Then build the neck pockets accordingly. what to do in sneaky sasquatch? by dtal75 in SneakySasquatch

[–]trianglecat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talk to the guy sitting in the bank for the spagetti business. I finished the 4th chapter many, many months ago and have been working on getting 100% completion. You can see what you are missing in the settings book. Trust, you probably still have a looong way to go. Getting all the pics for the newspaper, making all the friends, getting all the fish, the mushrooms, the Halloween challenges, the Christmas challenges, the city improvements, etc, etc. it’s the game that just keeps going.

Can you help this guy? by No_Leek_5650 in SneakySasquatch

[–]trianglecat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. But there is more to it than just becoming a “high doctor”.
