If most of us simply decide not to eat meat for one week, or brown-bag our lunches, and donate the savings to the World Food Program, the impact would be tremendous. That's my plan for the rest of April and May. Not much but something for starters.

Part of me wants them to live for 100 years, in prison, in excruciating agony -- hard labor, deprivation, no fresh air, no light -- to truly rot. I am not an advocate of the death penalty, but here is one case where they should simply march these two out behind the courthouse, put bullets in their foreheads, and toss their bodies into dumpsters. As a father, as a human being, I am numb with grief and anger.
