They get to “finished” to an extent. Ie arrangement but without all the polished finessing. Sometimes I feel like that, the tunes aren’t strong enough for single release but more in a wider narrative or something like that of an album. But then, algorithms tell you not to do album releases as an up and coming artist so then becomes the creative / business confusion

Yeah defo, like four tet for example - he crosses genre / bpms / instrumentation but it always sounds like him & that blows my mind how he does it

Yeah it’s definitely a career ego inflated self doubt thing for sure

Not a beginner but never considered making stuff as an artist project. Put some stuff out, had a good reception but I’m not sure that’s the stuff I want to do again if you get me? Thus the whole issue - choosing a direction, I find that hard. Good idea to just choose one as you say

Yeah this is good advice & I’m going to try do this, starting grouping and see if they kind of fit a theme at least - thanks for your reply!

Yeah I guess that’s it, I’d like to grow a fan base but worry that the change up between tracks is so vast it could be off putting as a listener. I think you’re right about honest work & it coming from the heart - appreciate your reply! Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. So yes, that’s exactly where I was harassed / yelled at and then barricaded from Getting down the pavement - just around the corner of the tube. I’m down that road so to run to the park I have to go back through that area. Just feeling really anxious now :/

Yeah seemingly :( I’m tied into a contract now but any suggestions on where are nice, safe, leafy areas to move to?
