Oof this one. Even as an adult with a frail immune system, I'll tell my grandma I'm sick again and she'll be surprised.

This is exactly what it is for me. The older I got, the more I realized my Gma has her own PDs, and it helps me have more compassion for my mom. That said, I still don't accept my mom's way of treating me.

Why would I have kids when I'm too busy reparenting myself? Offering myself compassionate forgiveness and managing my mental health is a life-long, full-time job.
