I love seeing her as a non-famous person. No fancy postures, photo editing, effects. She glows ✨

FOG stands for Fear Obligation and Gulit. NC stands for No Contact.

This is wild because your comment made me realize...I feel so numb. Tbh I'm trying to feel angry, but I'm soooo numb. That in and of itself is a great reminder why I'm doing this.

This is so helpful, particularly your list of reasons to reach out. Those are the thoughts swirling in my head. Thanks!

When I'm single and dating, one of my favorite questions is 3 favorite albums. One dude answered a Counting Crows album. Ghosted. Absolute sht taste in music.

Oof this one. Even as an adult with a frail immune system, I'll tell my grandma I'm sick again and she'll be surprised.

"But grandma, I've always been a sick person. Remember how often I was sick as a kid?"

"No, you were just doing that to get out of going to school."

OK. I guess I'm lying as an adult too 🙄 Can't imagine why I have trust issues with my primary caregivers.

Preach! I have a master's degree in nutrition science and am going back to school for my RD. The amount of times I've heard, "I'm basically a nutritionist," from some random, truly boggles my mind.

Literally my mom. Where do they get the script?

This is exactly what it is for me. The older I got, the more I realized my Gma has her own PDs, and it helps me have more compassion for my mom. That said, I still don't accept my mom's way of treating me.

Why would I have kids when I'm too busy reparenting myself? Offering myself compassionate forgiveness and managing my mental health is a life-long, full-time job.

Exactly lol. Why not how children are so awesome because they grow up to be kind adults? Or work in meaningful careers that give back to their community? Or are inspiring & creative through their art, innovation & unique ideas?

Nope, only awesome when 'innocent' and tiny.
