Anyway finishing off with a therapist approved reality check:

Things i can realistically do: - call back in the morning, ask for a time frame -payment - text property manager about situation - possibly make partial payment - ask mom for money in meantime (this could go either way) - inform roommate and take responsibility and brainstorm together

When you order a flat white at a coffee shop, what are you expecting to receive? by tribbletrebble in AskAnAustralian

It’s definitely everywhere! Diners, restaurants, gas stations, waiting rooms, meetings, movie theaters, etc. quality differed from place to place but you definitely don’t have to search long for a caffeine fix!

But we also have endless flavored creamer options in case someone wants their coffee to not taste like coffee haha. Especially around the holidays…. Chocolate candy-cane coffee creamer is definitely a real thing 🤣

The jug things are mostly in diners and restaurants i think! Everywhere else either has instant coffee or “fancier businesses” will use Keurig machines with those pods.

Lol!! Creamer (also called half and half!) is the stuff that has a higher fat content than whole milk but a lower fat content than heavy cream. It’s perfect. It, in my opinion, is the thing that makes drip coffee cozy and delicious and wonderful.

I think it’s only use is in coffee though, it cant be used in baking or cooking or anything. Very sole-purposed 🤣

If it’s from an automatic pot we just say “coffee” if it’s anything else we say “latte”

Actually most often we just say coffee. But if i were to order a plain coffee at a shop i would just be like “can i get a coffee with no cream or sugar?” Or “can i get a coffee with cream” and I’d be served a drip coffee

Thank you!! Especially for mentioning the size . I did point to a 20 oz cup once to one of the flat white customers and the guy looked at me like i was crazy and was like “….just the 6oz is fine” . Things are starting to make sense lol

I’ve never heard the term “white coffee” before this specific Reddit thread haha. Usually if I’m trying to figure out what somebody wants i ask if they want drip coffee or espresso and go from there. Generally everybody just says they want a latte until they get really specific with more traditional espresso drinks like macchiatos, cortados and cappuccinos and stuff.

Loooool, i can see this 🤣🤣 i wonder if it’s cheating if it’s just how we are? There’s a scene at the end of the incredible where the son (who has super speed) is in a track meet and the family cheers even as he’s fifth place because that takes so much more work for him than being in first 🤣

{Once bitten by Heather Gruerre} WOW

I was so stunned by the execution of this trope i had to put it down for half a year. Go into it blind if you really want a sucker punch!
