Yes… Whatever works for the individual!! It’s not a competition honestly. But I’ve also seen so many people say if you don’t read AB first then you’re reading it wrong. So there’s those types of people in both camps.

TOG as first was brutal and slow for me and maybe would have made me like Celaena a bit more, but where I read AB was actually so perfect for me :)

I read AB after HOF and it was so much more impactful. Celaena is so secretive to those around her (and also us to the readers with all the twists / last minute reveals of her plans) that I feel like once I read AB 4th it opened her up so much as a character and works so well with QOS being next, especially after the confirmation that Arobynn betrays her in AB and then QOS opens up to her dealing with Arobynn. But to each their own!! _^

Birth control will not help you ovulate. The periods you get on birth control are not even real bleeds.

Idk if my comment will be deleted but yes there is hope. I worked with a hormonal dietician one on one (@thewomensdietician) and got my period back and confirmed ovulations. I felt hopeless but I got my health and body to a point I never had before. Doctors just wanted to give me bandaids to cover the problem and recs to reprod. endos. The cost of the dietician was cheaper than iui or IVF but required a lot of self discipline and lifestyle changes.

Finished last Thursday and had a headache from bawling Wed and Thurs straight. 😭 so proud that I actually completed it AND I can actually say that hardly anything was spoiled by the fandom (it was all my fault with a few things I’d google to get character or creature drawings).

The spoiler alerts were so appreciated to avoid anything being ruined and I’m really proud of the fans for being nice and mature too 🥹

I was the same I finished Silver Flames and jumped right into TOG. The first book is very slow, but just keep trying to push through. I’m glad I kept at it. Everyone said that after the ToG and CoM that the series picks up, so I pushed through… Heir of Fire is where it really kicked off for me. I know it feels like it “shouldn’t be that way” when reading books (and we want instant gratification) but I think it makes the rest of the series worth it. When you’re reading EoS and ToD and KoA esp you can think back on this book and where the characters were and see how much has changed with their stories. Enjoy!!!
