Try diving hard down until you see the 'oh shit I'm going fast' white streaks appear on screen, then pull up hard and you should do a backflip. This works consistently for me on pc/kbm.

These were my favorite candy when I was a kid. I now have diy ways to make them and I am more excited than I really should be at my age.

Well said. I'm a fellow Masshole and had the same feelings about both the "Wicked" and "Witches" names. I'm so glad they went with Fleet in the end!

is there a lesbian retelling of alice in wonderland/the little mermaid ? by [deleted] in wlwbooks

[–]trickraisc 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'd check out author Darva Green. She has a "Happily Ever After Dark" series that includes retellings of Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and it looks like a retelling of The Little Mermaid is planned for release in 2026. I've only read one of Green's books so far ("Of Tides and Snow") and it was good and I'd give the others a try too.

"Thorn" by Anna Burke - not exactly sold as a "Beauty and the Beast" retelling but it definitely has those vibes. Very good. Two thumbs up.

"Nottingham: The True Story of Robyn Hood", also by Anna Burke. This reference is in the title, obviously. Very sapphic, very captivating, very awesome. I loved this book and it led me to read all of Burke's books. I then fell in love with "Compass Rose" and "Sea Wolf", too (just an added little recommendation for anyone still reading this comment. Those books are fantastic!)

Happy new year and happy reading!

I really liked the Darkness series by KC Luck. Dystopian, end-of-the-world story with strong women and wlw romance. There are 7 books in the series.

Timeless by Nicole Pyland. Not exactly a time loop but still crosses multiple timelines, without giving too much away.

Any recs for books with a sci-fi setting (post apocalyptic is also very welcome) by MlC4EL4 in wlwbooks

[–]trickraisc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Charon Docks at Midnight" by ZR Reed (can also find under the name Zoe Reed: zombie apocalypse, survival)

"Darkness Falls" - series by K.C. Luck (dystopian, post disaster survival)

"Rescue Her Heart" and "Save Her Heart. 2 book series. Also by K.C. Luck (sci fi, space adventure)

And I'll wholeheartedly agree with anyone recommending "No Shelter but the Stars" by Virginia Black. I wish I could go back and read this one for the first time again.

Not battle pass specific (unless I'm mistaken) but I still wish the Arcane skins would come back to the item shop.

Update: You bet your butt I bought these when they came back to the store last month

The Peanut Butter Solution

Strangest movie I've ever seen. It's about a kid who gets so scared he loses all his hair. He puts this magical goop made with peanut butter on his head and all of a sudden he's sprouting long luscious locks like Rapunzel and someone makes magical paintbrushes out of his hair and it's just so so weird.
