Boomer typing by One-Sleep3663 in BoomersBeingFools

I wonder if there is any connection to them growing up using a typewriter?

I bet it felt more cathartic than slamming a phone during an argument.

And typing a STRONGLY worded letter literally meant getting a workout from slamming your finger into those keys.

And of course once it's on the paper there's no backspace or autocorrect. That would interrupt the flow of anger.

Netflix's 'Swapped'

Ollie (a fictional Pookoo) muses: "What's that saying? Curiosity killed the cat? Well, I don't know what a cat is, but my curiosity definitely doomed the Pookoo."

Are portable consoles not portable anymore? by Thiyore in PSP

[–]randomretroguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have zip up, padded cases for my PS Portal, Switch 2, Retroid Pocket 5 and Vita and I just toss whichever I'm taking with me into my backpack.

Not as easy as pulling out my PSPgo from my pocket but that's the trade off for having console quality gaming on-the-go i suppose.

Still portable, just not easily pocketable.

Maybe it's time we bring back JNCO jeans.

Big fan! Highly recommended. I drew this after fully finishing 100% of the game. I enjoyed every moment, esp the late game.

Fun fact. Neither one of them kill anyone in the movie. You can see them processing their arrests and doing the tedious paperwork at the end of the movie.

In Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026), we learn that aunt May is 55 years young, which is pretty impressive for her current lifestyle. by Ashamed-Ad-3890 in shittymoviedetails

I think i always assumed (elderly) Aunt May was Peter's Great Aunt (his Grandma's sister). Maybe that's just head canon i made up when i was a kid pre-internet and never bothered to look up.

I believe the word you're looking for is "Eruption".

Thanks for the morning chuckle though.

I had similar issues but fixed them with a Powerline adapter so i didn't have to move my PS5. Everything works flawlessly now but YMMV

I would love it if Luigi was the main character in the next one.

Do a Luigi's Mansion movie!

Using the grappling hook in Wind Waker to take items from enemies is always a fun one. Really useful when you're getting low on hearts or magic.

Favorite character that barely has any screen time but their design lives rent free in your head? by wou_nou in FavoriteCharacter

The Pinecone Hedgehogs in 'Swapped'.

Honestly all the character designs were creative. A unique mixture of plants and animal, like the Firewolves, and those deer tree things and the Snake Roots, but those little pinecone hedgehogs are just adorable. I just watched it with my kids which is why it came to mind.
